No signs of life anywhere, pin drop silence, it was all as if they were in a horror movie.
Kodan wanted to stop since they had finally gotten away from the city and it was Aria's turn to be on watch. But Aria was asleep and so was Caiser. Kodan decided to drive a little farther and stop when they found some kind of cover. He shifted and scouted the area in case of danger before he also went to sleep.
In the morning......
Caiser had woken up first and decided to make "breakfast". There wasn't much materials and he did as best as he could. Since they had finally made it out of the city, they could use fire instead of just sitting inside the car. They didn't use any of the unnecessary features that would use up the fuel and possibly leave them stranded in the middle of nowhere.
When they were scavenging the destroyed city, they had luckily found enough supplies to last them a while. Aira and the brothers were getting closer and closer by the day. After all, you need camaraderie to get yourself through a lot of tough situations, right? They quickly ate a small breakfast and snuffed out the fire, eager to get on the move.
They were nearing the beach according to the map but Caiser knew the way to the beach and the scenery near by made it look like it wasn't. Uncertainly, he kept driving. It didn't look like the map was correct but they kept following the map.
During the journey, they had gotten closer. They played card games from the cards that they got from the shop that Aria didn't want to rob and they weren't sure how they would stay hygienic in case of infections but they pulled through the bad thoughts and kept moving.
Although they had reached, there was nothing that was able to help them cross to the other side of the bay. They stayed unwavering and decided to keep moving along the beach towards the other side of the bay. Since the apocalypse happened, the small groups of people who where fortunate to survive had stolen the supplies off of others' boats and set sail, hoping to find others who were able to help them. Many of the boats which were still anchored to the port had been destroyed enough to be unable to sail. Other boats were not sturdy enough to support all 3 of them and a car.
"Guys, come here," Aira said hopping out of the car when they had stopped, hoping to find some supplies. She turned around and pointed to the boat which was miraculously in perfect condition.
"That looks really suspicious," Caiser said. "Especially the fact that it is in perfect shape and it looks as if someone left it here on purpose. As if they left it so someone could come onto the boat and they could loot them."
"Yeah, I agree, " Kodan replied. "Even though there aren't many people even alive anymore, it could be the same person who was shooting at us earlier. We can't trust them like that since they look as though they were prepared for this to happen and they were ready to sail out and loot people."
