Avonlea Beatrice Covington II is your average rebellious princess (and she prefers to go by Lea). She would rather go flower-picking and paint in the gardens than spend her time at finishing lessons. She soon meets the newest hire at the palace, gardener Bennett. Bennett is like nobody Lea has ever met before; they are adventurous, daring, kind, and have notions of gender Lea has never heard of before. Soon the two form a bond that seems to be something more than friendship.
