The only movement that can be seen in the streets of the town is the car of the two siblings who have just left house number seven. Cold is freezing the bones. Most people prefer to be between four walls where the magic of the fireplace reigns or where the temperature is controlled by air conditioning.
The wheels stop at the intersection right before leaving behind the town with the orange street lights that create an illusory sense of security at night.
- You can cross, no one is coming. And who would go out with this cold? Only US! - as soon as the car starts, Selena loosens her coat and widens her scarf - Don't you mind turning on the air conditioning? I get sick from the car heater, especially if I'm not driving.
- Nice attempt to drive my car! You get sick with the heater and you get sick with the curves ... You're a weirdo, kid, that's why nobody has grabbed you until now. Men are smart, they spot weirdness from a distance! Next time, I'll let you drive just to not hear you complain!
- Shut up! - she replies, slapping her brother’s arm with the back of her hand without taking her eyes off the road - As if you're a good piece! Do you already have a family of your own? House? Children? A perfect wife?
Alexander's smile fades as he frees his hand from the steering wheel and opens his jacket. He takes the GPS out of his inner pocket and passes it to the side passenger. Selena turns it on and sees the map of the town and the surrounding roads. A few seconds and meters later, the device locates them and the screen shows the road on which the two are traveling and an arrow indicating the direction. By pressing the zoom key, she views the image more closely in search of something. Then she presses the key again and again and the map shows more and more of the area in which they are. You can already see the reliefs of the hills, the highest point in the area, the curves of the small stream - full and bubbly in winter but only a dry path in summer - and the road, of course. As the car moves, the arrow advances too and apparently in the middle of nowhere a circle flashes
