the Dog and the Bird

based on a short story I wrote.
I've got it on my laptop but I'm working from iMac now. I'll post it somewhere and link it :)
(cuz it's too much text for tapastic.. what's a good place to post stories??)
maybe I should change the 'she' for the bird into 'it'..?
(the bird basically is me, but it feels weird seeing me being represented by such an obviously female noun.. :p
makes me sound like a girl!)
