As instructed I stood in front of the Baraz household in my 'casual clothes' as told by his assistant. A very rude one may I add. She had the audacity to be rude to me when her make up resembled my toilet after a lactose filled day.

I was pulled out of my thoughts by the opening of the front door revealing a short man in a suit.

"Mrs Abara nice to meet you the name is Geoffrey I am the butler" he introduced himself with the most British accent I had ever heard.

"Nice to meet you my name is-" "Emiola but goes by Emi, you are the nanny, yes I have been informed. Would you like to come in?" Geoffrey interrupted my eyebrows shooting up as he spoke. I nodded quickly as Geoffrey stepped aside allowing me to enter the residence.

Geoffrey beckoned me into the corridor or may I say foyer this shit is fancy as fuck. I examined the walls and painting that lined the walls as he led me to a room. "The kids are in here miss" 

"Emi" I quickly corrected him as he opened the door to the room.

Well damn I could get used to this.

"Loai would love this" I couldn't help but whisper underneath my breath "pardon me" Geoffrey questioned me giving me a curious look. "Oh how I would love this " I corrected spinning around and grimacing to myself as I composed myself as I took in the beautiful kitchen I was in.

My embarrassment was forgotten when I heard the sounds of kids feet running into the kitchen. A girl and a boy both aged around 1 and a half came running through the door in nothing but pull up pampers and dummy's in their mouths heading straight for a cupboard at the bottom.

Neither of them noticed me or Geoffrey and their mission became apparent when they pulled open a cupboard containing an array of sweets.

I watched as the boy got pulled out a lollipop handing it to his sister who took out her dummy and threw it straight across the room.

Task number one switch that cupboard. "Xavier and Luna" Geoffrey called out to the children and I laughed as I watched them turn like deers caught in headlines as he went to pick them up.

"This is Xavier" Geoffrey nodded his head to the boy in his left arm. "Hello my name is Emi" I did a little wave opening and closing my palm but Xavier just glared at me. "And you pretty lady must me Luna" I said pinching the cheeks of the little girl bundled in Geoffreys right arm.

Both had piercing green eyes like there father but Luna had strawberry blonde coloured hair that was almost as curly as Loai's, it needed some TLC and taming. I would have fun with that. Xavier had black wavy hair like his father. Luna quickly reached out to me and I took her in my arms. "I'm Emi" I said to her whilst pinching her chubby cheeks earning a giggle from her. "Emwi" Luna squealed out. Eh close enough.

It was now lunchtime and and both Luna and Xavier sat in their high chairs waiting for their food. I had made pancakes with mushed blueberries inside which was Loai's favourite and coincidentally his dads favourite.

I shook my head ditching the memories and served it to them watching them scoff it down whilst drinking their sippy cups of water. "Yummm" Xavier said whilst licking his hands "more" Luna said triggering a little chant of baby 'mores' to ring out through the room. "You can have one more each" causing a burst of yayys to erupt.
