Continuing from the last episode…
13 – MORTIS, the Death
God of darkness and death. Known as the first necromancer to be born with the power of life and death in Geonova, Mortis is known as the god who brings death and obscures the light. Main god worshiped in Forbiddenland, he is adored as the god who could bring your loved one back. On the other hand, the temple of death is the most dangerous temple for anyone in Geonova to reach, and only the Faustians are naturally able to get there. Because it’s the most wanted temple in the whole world, Darkland's original name was changed to Forbiddenland to specify that it is a forbidden place for a reason. He is also known for being a cold-hearted god, meaning you can travel all the way into his temple of darkness and yet not get your loved one back to life. He killed his mortal parents when he was still a simple fetus and made his way out of his mother’s belly on his own. He grew up without love and facing the fear of killing the ones he would ever like. As time passed, he never died and in his ultimate grief, Mundus gave him enlightenment, making him able ascend to higher planes so he could have a better point of view towards life and help others.
Pray to this god if you want to hide in the veil of darkness, kill your enemies, or bring your loved one back to life (success not guaranteed).
14 – TEMPERANTIA, the Temperance
The god of water and beauty. Being the patron of all arts and what is beautiful, Temperantia is known for building the underwater domains by himself. There he kept anything beautiful from the surface, even people, who he kidnapped, no matter if it was man or woman. Temperantia is also known for being the god who mostly enjoys having avatars, physical forms in the material world, being male, female, or even a non-binary person. Main god worshiped in Waterland, he is the god worshiped to bring creativity and to help you find your vocation in arts. He is also the emperor of the sea, spring of clear water, the most beautiful person that has ever existed.
He ascended to a higher plane to protect Waterland from a drought.
Pray to this god if you want to succeed in any kind of art, to become more beautiful, or to enhance your water powers.
15 – DAEMON, the Devil
The god of chaos and horror. Known for being one of the oldest gods, but his existence only came to be known only after the destruction of the twin planet of Geonova by the forces of Umbra, the evil god who lives in the far darkness of the Solux system, where the light of Flavus, Caelum and Rubrus, Geonova’s suns, can’t reach properly. Considered a god who survived the destruction of the twin planet, Daemon is known for being the most twisted and malefic god, being responsible for the creation of the demonic beings who live in Forbiddenland, the only place where he could build a temple for himself. Daemon is also the most hated god by the Geolings and any worship to him is forbidden – Daemon will cause trouble even without a single devotee. Even being the most despicable god, Daemons is not considered an evil god and helped the first king in the wars against Umbra’s aberrations. Since then, Daemon is treated as a respectable god and should be called only to help defeat any Geonova’s enemy as a war god. As Daemon likes to cause trouble, his avatars should be a mix of male and female to cause confusion, though he is always treated as a male.
It’s only acceptable to pray to this god if defeat is near and you need to protect people by sacrificing yourself. Daemon always kills who worships him or drives them crazy.
16 – TURRIS, the Tower
The god of lightning and weather. Main god of Stormland, he built his own kingdom under the eternal rain controlling the clouds at will. However, that came with a price. By disturbing the clouds, an alarming amount of Gens De L’eau’ (water people), humanoids exclusively made of water, started to fall upon the Chromatishans, killing them. Turris' whole kingdom was devastated and he swore to kill every single Gens De L’eau’ at sigh. For this day, despite the emperor king clams, Chromatishans still kill innocent Gens De L’eau’, despite being known that it was Turri's fault for forcing the clouds away from each other that caused the hole on the Gens De L’eau’ kingdom above the clouds to fall. Still, Turris was a powerful warrior, having two faces, one pointing to the front and the other on the back of his head. One face was kind and gentle, and the other was rude and grumpy. It’s said the common birth of twins in Stormland is caused by this god powers, coming from the lightning temple among the ruins of the old kingdom – the place is surrounded by lightning strikes and only Chromatishans can get there without harm. It’s said that one day Turris faced his biggest rival, nature, and he seemed to ascend above the clouds and is unknown if his ascension to higher planes succeeded that day or at another time.
Pray to this god if you want to change the weather, for clear-sky days, for rainy days or to enhance your electric powers.
17 – STELLA, the Star
The goddess of earth and beasts. Main goddess of Groundland, she was once a virgin damsel, who despised any man and loved all animals. When war was upon her family, she ran away to the closest place she knew that could protect her, the closed Groundland. Crying for nature to help her, she gained power over the fortified walls and broke a passage to the luxurious green gardens inside the great labyrinth. Bringing with her lots of animals, she lived for a long time hiding from humanity. Unfortunately, that war didn’t stop, and the familiars she was protecting wanted to go find their pairs, crying to Stella to open the walls again. She ascended to a higher plane to create the king of all beast, Chimera.
Stella is known for being a beautiful woman and for never wearing clothes, covering her body with her long black hair.
In battle, Stella was known for being the wildest warrior, never measuring her power to destroy her enemies and for developing the anti-magic (the magic that nullifies magic).
Pray to this goddess if you want help with animals and beasts, to find your familiar, to bring up your wildest side, for protection against magic, or to reinforce your earth powers.
18 – LUNAE, the Moon
The god of ice and mischief. Main god of North Iceland, he is known as the cold god of pranks who lived in North Iceland, he is also known as the smallest giant who was ever born from the giants’ magic, something pretty uncommon to this day. Said to be just one meter high, Lunae learned he didn’t need to obey the giants to do whatever he wanted and he started a long life of pranks. He only stopped when he faced Magi, the god of light and magic, who tricked him instead. Lost without being the smartest person in the world, he tried to prank the Great Wizard again and again, and he still tries to do it to this day. Even though Lunae pranks people, he is never heard laughing at them, always keeping a quiet composure and visibly grinning at them. It’s said that, if someone is caught on a prank, but there’s no one around or laughing, you can look for a grin hidden right close to you – its Lunae’s mark.
To ascend to a higher plane, Lunae used all his ice powers to freeze the enemy army that was attacking North Iceland in a war that almost devastated the continent. He is also said to be the fastest warrior in battle.
Pray to this god if you want to trick someone, to play tricks, to be fast, or to make your ice powers colder.
19 – SOLIS, the sun
The goddess of fire and courage. Main goddess of Fireland, she is said to have been born from the fire. Solis is a goddess like no other, named as “the virgin mother of millions” without ever being pregnant; Solis protected with bones and stones all dinosaur eggs she could find in Fireland, repopulating the almost extinct terrible reptiles. Having little patience, Solis is said to be the most destructive god in Geonova (sometimes even more than Daemon) and said to be a war goddess, but always said to be the only one to face abominations alone when no god could have helped her. Despite being female, Solis is not considered a symbol of femininity, being instead considered more rude and manly than most men are. She is also said to be short in height and to have a curvy fat body, which never stopped her from showing her wild beauty off. Even though she bows to no men, Solis is a goddess that protects the ones in need, and to breastfeed the hunger with her warm milk from her big boobs, being a symbol of maternity. Solis clothes are mostly composed of leather and bones, carrying a giganotosaurus head as a weapon.
She ascended to a higher plane after creating the crater where Fireland’s city-state is located now with her bare hands, to proportionate a safe place for the dinosaurs eggs to hatch.
Pray to this goddess if you want to be a better mother (or father), to help the ones in need with nothing but your hands and your strength, to get the courage to face the battle ahead or to make your fire power burn intensely.
20 – JUDICIUM, the judgment
The god of wind and meditation. Main god of Windland, he was born as a winged man and said to be descendant from a bird god, and, knowing about it, he followed the path of asceticism, leaving a life away from the material pleasures to achieve enlightenment. In his path to ascending to a higher plane, he faced Windland strong winds just to reach the Great Peak top and meditate about everything that happens in Geonova. It’s said that Judicium's wings were bright red when he was born and, as he faced abstinence from food and water, they turned gray and fell out of his back. History tells that it was at that moment that Windland was under a terrible plague and people were too weak to fight against it. At the same time, Judicium fought against the abomination from where the plague originated and he was too weak to fight back. It’s said that he realized how weak he had become, almost mummified alive, that all greatness had left him and he was nothing but a blind man who was wishing to be able to fight back. Said to have a revelation from Mundus, Judicium ascended to a higher plane, gaining light wings and flying over the Great Peak and its turbulent winds like no other, purifying the plague. Although, as he wasn’t strong enough to fight it alone, he called all birds of prey to help him, and together they made the sky bleed with light that day. Everyone was cured of their illness and the birds of prey became one with the now winged people from Windland, the Pankhon.
Pray to this god if you need to meditate about some important subject, if you seek for spiritual help, if you want to ascend your mind to a higher plane, if you want to climb the highest peak, or just reinforce your air powers.
21 – MUNDUS, the World
The God of ether and beyond. Considered the only true god and, by extension, the only one who can be called God (with a capital G), Mundus exists beyond all planes, knows everything, can do everything, and is everywhere. It’s still debated if Mundus is benevolent, as he is said to watch all pain and grief without doing any major change, but he is known to be the creator of all planes and everything that’s inside them, creator of all souls and to be the source of all magic in the universe.
The only one who ever got to be close to Mundus was the Great Wizard, but even Magi could only see Mundus from far, far away. It’s also said that Mundus is so enormous that his true form can only be seen as a huge star, able to illuminate the whole plane space that holds him within. It’s also said that Mundus is composed of all souls that once tried to reach the highest conscience, as their souls couldn’t hold their old form anymore.
Mundus should be treated as a plural, but old tradition still tells to treat Mundus as one single living being. Despite Mundus not having any gender, it’s said that he doesn’t create souls from his own body, but from another dimension substance, so he isn’t pregnant like a female but acts like a father to the souls, so he is implied to be a male god.
Pray to Mundus to know what is needed to know, to be where you need to be or to create what is needed to be created, or for just some regular pray for guidance in general.
Zero – SCURRA, the Fool
The god of dreams and journeys. Considered the most well-known god among the least known gods, Scurra was a happy young man who liked to bring joy to people’s lives. One day, eventually, he fell ill to some unknown sickness, maybe a curse, and never woke up. While everyone that loved him kept bringing flowers to his house every day, each day a new person said they have dreamed of Scurra, telling stories about him, and how he would love to wake up one day. A long time has passed and his body finally gave up and Scurra officially died. However, the dreams never stopped and it’s said that Scurra ascended to the dream plane and lives there, helping people in their dreams. He even has his own temple inside the dream dimension and welcomes anyone who is lost in the dream world.
If you dream of this god, it’s a sign that your great journey is about to start. Or that you may be in a coma.
Pray to this god if you want to have nice dreams, if you want nightmares to go away or if you want to find out how your adventures will start.
May the eye of Mundus look upon us and guide us to prosperity and success... Alea jacta est!
