Mount Olympus truly was beautiful. It was a shame Alessa only spent part of her time there.
But such is the lot of a demigod, and she was more fortunate than most. To appease his wife’s wrath, Zeus had allowed Hera to name the child he had with an affair with a human woman. That, along with Hera taking a turn raising her, had smoothed things over.
The queen of the gods had chosen the name Alessa. If she had been a boy, the name would have been Heracles, or perhaps Hercules.
