I really like when people are unapologetically in love with their significant other, and are not afraid to show how in love they are. It's very endearing!
I also think that for the longest time there was (has been?) this weird society standard of not letting men show they love their wives, it's really sad in my opinion. So I wanted to write about a guy who just loved his wife so darn much.
