Welcome to the Tapas kickoff of my most beloved original juvenile delinquent series, Please Please Forget Me! A while back I read some twitter discourse about LGBT content made for the general public, and then LGBT+ content made specifically with a LGBT+ audience in mind. Though this series is absolutely not mutually exclusive, it definitely is a story I had intended to direct at other LGBT+ people with the idea that this story is my mirror. It's a reflection of me and my own likes, fears, loves and experiences as a queer person that I hope someone else might also feel seen by! If you have ever felt kicked, put upon, pushed into a corner, or frustrated by your circumstances, this is a comic for you. If you ever spent hours watching classic anime by yourself in the middle of the night, this is a comic for you. And if you ever felt ashamed for putting your hope into a popular drama on tv expecting to get representation only to be queer baited out of any payoff, I hope this is also a comic for you.
Good writing, compelling character development and a broad spectrum of personalities shouldn't be relegated to straight stories, and not all stories about LGBT issues have to ONLY be about LGBT issues. I hope my new tapas friends enjoy the first issue out of twelve in total of Please Please Forget Me, and look forward to a story I have tried to build progressively on an established belief that life is messy, and love is transcendent even in it's ability to help overturn deeply internalized homophobia. That love can act as a healing catalyst for people who consider themselves long lost to trauma, and that found family can make all the difference if you can open your heart up enough to allow yourself to be loved.

In the dilapidated little seaside town of Shoreline, three juvenile delinquents struggle to survive in a world where whoever has the strongest fist reigns supreme. Laid-back Moss, heavy-hitter Rain, and the bookish Guppy are three childhood best friends whose destinies are controlled by poverty and circumstance. When the group dynamic begins to fracture as Rain and Moss are pulled into The Gold Vultures, a local biker gang, Guppy is forced down a different, even darker path.
