Unable to find his room Stryard headed to the place that was once his favorite room in the whole castle: The Grand room. The room of parties, gatherings, meetings, balls, and shows. He didn’t know why he likes this room, but sometimes when he was actually himself he could hear the song his mother use to play to him and Alex. The beautiful, if gracefully suffocating could be put to tune floated across his ears.
“Alex!” He instantly perked up. ‘Someone to play with’, he thought radiating happiness. Even in his darker days it was always Alex, but the face that greeted him from the piano was neither his mother nor Alex. He was much darker; his skin seemed to have its own inner glow or the sun trapt just beneath the surface of his skin. His hair was like barrels of cotton that stopped at the nape of his ear. His most remarkable feature aside from his deep authoritarian hazel eyes was his almost flawless skin if looked at a profile. The other rippled with burns that failed to diminish his beauty only enhance it.
“Shouldn’t you offer your guest a drink? I hope you don’t mind Seth” He said his name like a curse. “I let myself in.”
“May I have one too,” a small voice and body to match of a pale child ask over the side of the man elbow. Together they were a carefully placed portrait. Although something felt very wrong about the child like the feeling of a centipede crawling up the back of your thigh, but once you swat at it’s not there; The immense feeling that something just doesn’t belong where it is at like knives in a candy store.
“Seth! Where have you been?” an all too familiar voice screamed forcing Stryard to turn around to Alex dressed up in a ruffled deep purple shirt with a three quarters open black blazer and stylishly flooding ash black pants. Nothing should have gone together in his ensemble, but his brother was always gorgeous. “Alex.” Stryard smiled at ease.
“Stryard?” he would’ve hugged him if it wasn’t for the presence of Victoriaon Akkrim Vladamin casually sitting where he did not belong. “Where have you been?” he asked instead. “I couldn’t find my room.” Stryard said a matter-of-factly.
“Who’s Seth?”
Alex didn’t know how to answer the question.
“Whispering is naughty,” smiled the doll without speaking a word, but it didn’t matter Alex was just happy to have a distraction. “Is she like you?”Alex asked.
“I don’t know. I don’t remember. ..Remember? She does feel different”
“Make her tell you.”
