"You are scaring my student, Virgil."
Guy moved in, now resting his palm on Cormac's free shoulder.
"If you plan on eradicating the Tribes, you all can not falter in the faces of your brothers." Guy now looked back at Virgil, "I know Thom is a master of ice, and Braum uses electricity and the moisture in the air to create clouds. It looks like Ciacco is the least practiced in Neshamah out of everyone here, despite the vast amount he has at his disposal. He is too reliant on that Idol of his. You seem to be able to create golems, though the extent of which I have no clue. While both Cormac and I, create and control flames. Honestly, with the vast difference in all of your abilities, it's hard to believe you are all even related."
Virgil gave a haughty laugh, "Hardly related is more akin to the truth. None of us are full brothers, and this lineage of polygamous relationships has laid its roots farther back than you can know. It's a wonder that we can still even produce a child that carries on the torch passed on by our forefathers. Perhaps after a few generations without boring a female has laid our family to waste in regards to what should and shouldn't be acceptable behavior."
Standing up now, Virgil looked at the two in front of him.
"While you two have been studying away holed up in a cave, the brothers Thom and Braum have been practicing diligently together. Had you a few more years on you, Cormac, the duo you created with your teacher may be comparable. But as it stands today, you would only hold him back. Unfortunately, this isn't a private match, so the next King can't exactly sit this one out, Cormac will need to be on the frontline. As for me, I am not much in a fight either and am best served as a support role."
Cormac began to turn his head slowly, visualizing the Neshamah surrounding him. While a small shroud of Neshamah surrounded Virgil, he could tell that a vast network was being formed on the field, one that looked quite similar to a diagram he had been shown earlier, but not one he could put a finger on.
"You're being too obvious Virgil, even the boy is catching on," replied Guy, "this is almost an exact replica of the information network the guards on The Wall use. It won't work nearly as well on an opponent who is aware of its existence."
Despite Guy's remarks, Virgil continued extending his network on the field.
"Don't be so hasty Guy."
