'Huh,' I thought. 'I wonder why she is late. Whatever,' I then got back to my drawing, and I heard Malissa say,
"Sorry that I am late sir," Malissa said. "I just forgot something in my locker."
"It's okay," Mr. Johnsan said. "But you will have to serve detention this afternoon after the assembly."
Malissa then grunted and sat down right next to Ally, and started to talk.
I then got back to my drawing and thought about how Malissa was late.
'She is never late,' I thought. 'She only makes sure that I am late, she is never late herself.'
I then decided to only focus on schoolwork, so that I would not get low grades. And so that I would remember to hide my homework, and make sure that Ally would not get any of the things that I had done today, and say that they are hers.
Because that is always what she would do. I remember last year when I had gotten my essay back that I had worked hours on that I put in my backpack before going home that day.
I then went to my room so that I could put down my backpack in my room so that I could fold the laundry.
And when I got back to my room, I went into my backpack to hide my essay in the secret drawer that was in my backpack.
And when I pulled out my essay, I saw that it was Malissa's instead of mine. I knew because it was not my handwriting.
I then walked down to the kitchen to see if Malissa had my essay, and saw that she was being hugged by our parents.
I then tried to talk to them, but they of course believed their precious little angel who is actually a devil.
And I had then cried so many tears that night because all of those hours that I had spent on that essay had been for nothing.
After that, I had made sure that I had a secure place to store all fo my assignments and made sure that I would not leave my assignments in place that Malissa could easily access.
That night I found the secret drawer in my dresser, and would then store my assignments so that Malissa could never get them.
And that is what I had been doing with all of the assignments that I had gotten ever since that day.
When there were only thirty minutes of art class left, Mr. Johnsan said,
"Okay class," Mr. Johnsan said. "Thirty minutes until class is over, so I will talk to you about the upcoming project that will count as most of your final grade this semester, and year."
'Great,' I thought. 'Another project that Malissa would most likely steal from me. But I will still make an effort to hide it, or make sure that my parents know the truth about what Malissa was doing.'
"The project would be a project that you would do in pairs." Mr. Johnsan said. "This will be worked on in class so that I could make sure that you would all be doing the same amount of work on this project."
'Awesome!' I said. 'If I am not paired up with Malissa, I could possibly have my partner take the project home instead of me so that Malissa does not take mine.'
"I will have you work with the person who is sitting next to you." Mr. Johnsan said. "I will go around the room and tell you who you would be with so that you do not get confused about who to work with."
Mr. Johnsan then started walking around the room to pair all of us up properly. I noticed that Ally and Malissa got paired up together.
And when Mr. Johnsan came by where Jake and I sat, and I got paried up with him. And I was super happy about that.
When class was over, I quickly went to my locker so that I would not have to carry my art class supplies around.
Also so that Malissa does not switch around our art notebooks.
Once I got to my locker, I did not waste any time switching my things around.
Once I had finished switching my things around, I closed my locker and made sure that it was locked.
I then pulled out my schedule, so that I could figure out which room and area of the school to go to so that I would not get lost.
'I hope that the rest of the day goes by smoothly.' I thought as I walked to the assembly room. 'And I hope that Malissa does not mess with my things later today. And I got to make sure that I also get all of my homework done, and hide it, and get it in the morning when I wake up.'
