Truth is that the stairs were invented by a woman. This woman loved the skies as no human has ever loved anything, but the skies are as unreachable as the Warm in the Earth. This woman, who had no legs and no arms, had to crawl to anywhere she wanted while everyone else could simply walk and climb. But she had a great mind, such a great mind that it gave birth to this invention.
And with it, she reached the skies. And in the skies she lived for so many years that she made friends with the swifts, and the King of swifts (who, in case you didn't know, never land a foot on floor) made her her Queen and gifted her a pair of wings so she could fly eternally.
