Shelly turned rigid as she heard footsteps above the stairway.
Immediately after a young girl glided down the creaking steps, her long black hair trailing behind her as it hung in an absurdly tight ponytail that would not let a single hair leave it's place. She placed a single sun kissed hand upon the banister and headed straight towards Shelly and Henry. Henry tilted her head finding her tan skin and wide eyes strangely familiar but no matter how much he wanted her to make eye contact with him she didn't. Instead this girl looked down at the steps as she descended the flight of stairs. It was obvious she wasn't going to look up unless she was called.
"Elina this is-" Before Shelly could finish the girl rushed by making Henry realize she was just being rude and not shy or oblivious.
He watched as she reached the next level and ran even faster.
"That's her." Shelly sighed. "The weirdest person in this whole madhouse."
Henry slowly leaned over the floors balcony looking down to the girl named Elina who appeared strangely familiar to him.
He peered closer surprised she had a small black backpack he hadn't seen as she rushed down. The backpack faded for a strange moment before reappearing with what looked to be a small round head that clung to her by two thin twisting arms wrapped around her neck. Henry gasped leaning further to try to see just what was possibly on her but before he could it vanished once again leaving him in utter confusion.
"Come along now." Shelly said already on the top of the staircase.
Henry gulped looking between her and the girl below. What had he just seen.
"Shelly," he said almost shy. "What else do people say about that girl?"
Shelly perked up and Henry instantly knew it must have been because she loved to gossip. A dangerous trait he had to be weary of if he were to keep his image in tact.
"Well I heard she typically keeps to herself, she wears this collar around her neck and one time she fought against five people and won." Shelly sighed. "Poor girl is a lost cause, i'd steer clear from her if I were you."
Henry shook his head deciding that Shelly was indeed correct, this girl was strange and if he didn't want any trouble it would be best to steer clear of such a strange person.
