Olivia and Deku smile at everyone, and in return, they get smiles back
"Good morning you two," Emerald says brightly
"Good morning Mr Southwell. Olivia has exciting news for you all," Deku grins knowingly.
Immediately, all eyes were on Olivia. The sixteen-year-old looks at Deku, who looks at her and nods, still grinning.
Olivia returns the nod, grinning and she looks back at everyone
"Last night, Deku called me and gave me some advice. I followed his advice. Put music on, cuddled up in bed and focused on my breathing. For the first time in I think ever, I finally got to sleep, slept through the entire night, and woke up feeling refreshed with no issues from my condition," she said.
Everyone let out cheers and whoops, which had Olivia and Deku both laughing joyfully
"That is incredible! Amazing!" Garnet grins.
Olivia and Deku look at each other and grin at each other in victory. The two look back at Olivia's family
"May I ask you something, Deku?" Jake asked
"You sure can, Jake," Deku nods
"With the advice you gave Olivia, was it related to doing research on her condition?" Jake asked
"Part of it was, yes. Other parts, we had to take a wild guess. But, surprisingly, it paid off," Deku smiles
"How amazing," Oliver grins.
Olivia and Deku take seats beside each other and chat with Olivia's family. However, everyone silenced themselves when Deku's phone rang loudly
"I better take this," Deku said and got his phone out.
He saw Ren was calling him and answered
"Hey Ren," Deku greeted
Ren: "Hello, Deku. Good morning. Do you have a report about Olivia's sleep last night?"
"I do indeed, and I think you'll be very glad to hear it," Deku grins
Ren: "Please report."
"Olivia had the best sleep ever. Last night was her very first refreshing sleep she's ever had since she has this condition. Following advice I gave her last night before she went to sleep, Olivia followed, and she had a great sleep," Deku reported
Ren: "That is incredible! I am very glad to hear it indeed. That is great news. However, this is only the first step. We've still got a lot to do, and this condition has more to it than just sleep,"
"Indeed it does, Ren. What's the next step?" Deku asked
Ren: "Bring the Southwell family to Alnara. We'll need to do some specific testing on Olivia and chat to the family before we do so,"
"Roger that, Ren. I'll be back in Alnara with the family," Deku nodded
Ren: "Good. We shall see you and the Southwell family very soon. Thank you on the report, Deku,"
"It's my pleasure, Ren. We'll see you soon," Deku said and ended the call.
He put his phone away and looked at the family
"Are you guys alright with heading to Alnara?" Deku asked, waiting for consent
"Of course. Seeing as you can help Olivia with her condition, we trust you. When do we need to go?" Emerald asked
"As soon as you're all ready," Deku nods.
The family nod. They all get up and prepare. Olivia was all ready, so she stayed with Deku
"Are you okay for us to do some testing on you, Olivia? This is regarding your condition," Deku asked
"If it's for my condition, of course. Will I be warned of anything if it's likely to happen and may cause any negative behaviours, effects, etc?" Olivia asked
"Absolutely. As much as we wished it'd be all clear, and no such thing would happen, unfortunately, with a condition such as the condition of the unknown, there is always going to be something that may have an effect of negativity," Deku spoke cautiously, looking at Olivia.
Olivia nods, showing she understood
"I understand, and you are right. With these kinds of things, it could go either way. You don't know," she says quietly.
Deku nods. He and Olivia looks at the family as they enter
"We're good to go. Are you, Olivia?" Amethyst asked
"Yes. I'm good to go," Olivia nods in reply.
The family nod. Deku and Olivia get up and the group head to Alnara. Olivia was nervous. She fiddled a little with her hair, and Deku noticed this almost immediately
"I know you're afraid and nervous, Olivia. That's completely normal. We know this condition is one to shoot a lot of things through its victim. That's why we're here to help. We're getting a grip on this condition and doing what we can to be of assistance and help," he says comfortingly.
Olivia looked at Deku and she nodded. She trusted Deku and everyone in Alnara. As they know how to tackle some bits of this condition, Olivia knew she is trusting everyone in Alnara to help.
The group get to Alnara via a tunnel. They were greeted by the seven creators
"Greetings, everyone. How are you all?" Scott asked
"We are very well, thank you, Scott," Sapphire nods.
Scott smiles
"That's wonderful to hear. We got word that Olivia had a fantastic sleep last night. The very first night where she wasn't disturbed when she fell asleep," Sakura grins
"Yes, indeed! Everyone bursted with excitement!" Emerald grins, getting excited again.
Olivia giggles a little, joyed to see her father so happy
"Of course, if it wasn't for Deku and his advice, I would've had another usual sleepless night," she smiled, looking at Deku.
Deku blushes a little and he smiles, waving Olivia off shyly, which had her giggling again.
The seven creators take Olivia, Deku, and the Southwell family to the laboratory in Alnara and enter
"Here, we'll do Olivia's testing. As everything we're doing involving Olivia's condition is broken down into research, experimenting and analysing, this'll be very helpful for us to crack down on Olivia's condition," Toby said with a nod.
The Southwell family nod. They get to a room with the main purpose of testing. Olivia felt her throat close in
"This is the room where Olivia will have all her testing done. We'll do all of her testing in here. We'll need others to be of assistance, but if it helps, you can stay here and support Olivia. If she needs you, you'll be here for her," Edd nods.
The Southwell family nod again. They step back and stay in the room and get comfortable as there is a lounging area.
Olivia and Deku look at each other
"You look pale, Olivia. Do you want a drink of water before we get started?" Deku asked gently
"That would be great, thank you," Olivia nods.
Deku nods and he left the room for a few minutes. Mason approached Olivia and gently placed a hand on her shoulder, causing her to look at Mason
"Everything is under control, Olivia. We all know what we're doing. I promise, we promise, you're in very good hands," he said with a promising tone.
Olivia nods. Deku came back and entered. He gave Olivia her glass of water
"Thank you, Deku," Olivia smiles
"You're very welcome, Olivia. Relax, we know what to do. You can trust us," Deku nods.
Olivia nodded too. She had her glass of water as Deku chatted to Ren. Deku was given instructions on who to get for Olivia's first test.
Deku nods and was off. Olivia puts her empty glass down and she rolled her shoulders back
"Are you ready, Olivia?" Sakura asked
"Yes. I am," Olivia nodded.
Sakura nods and he looked at Ren
"Has Deku gone to get the first group needed for Olivia's first test?" He asked
"Yes. He'll be back very soon," Ren nodded.
Olivia takes a deep breath in and out. Eventually, she sees Deku enter with a group behind him.
They were human, but held powerful auras. Olivia saw they were the twelve Zodiacs. But, powerful.
The seven creators dismiss Deku and he was off. They know to call either Deku, or any of the other BNHA boys. There's four of them on the team.
The doors to the testing room were closed automatically. Olivia's family were separated from Olivia and weren't allowed to see what was going on.
It made Olivia nervous to know that her family were blocked off from her, but she knew this was for an important purpose. For her condition.
Mason approached Olivia as the others stepped right back
"For your first test, Olivia. You will tested on conversation. Of course, this condition may not interfere with your talking, but, it can give you bad ideas, and cause paranoia of saying something wrong, or speaking at all can cause anxiety and serious fear. And a warning, topics may be confrontational, just so you're warned. So you will be tested on topics with these twelve Zodiac males: Ram Aries, Bull Taurus, Twins Gemini, Crab Cancer, Virgin Virgo, Scale Bearer Libra, Scorpion Scorpio, Archer Sagittarius, Sea Goat Capricorn, Water Bearer Aquarius and Fish Pisces," he said, motioning to the twelve powerful Zodiacs as he introduced them
"Got it," Olivia nods.
Mason nods and stepped back, lining up with the other seven creators. They were blocked off from sight. Despite Olivia being with only the twelve Zodiac males, everyone can hear what's going on.
The creators have a special screen that they watch all the action from.
Olivia and the twelve males step a bit closer to each other, but kept distance to be respectful of boundaries
"You are Olivia Southwell, yes? Sixteen-years-old?" Ram Aries asked smoothly
"I am indeed," Olivia nods
"You are a brave soul. Having to deal with such a horrid condition. However, do you think it was you, who formed this condition?" Scorpion Scorpio raised an eyebrow.
Olivia stood strong, remembering Mason's warning
"No, actually. I was born a happy and healthy baby girl. There was no problems with me. The doctors checked up on me as they did with my brothers. No problems with any of us. None of us were sick, none of us had any conditions or health problems. We were in the clear," she said, keeping her composure.
The Zodiacs exchange looks and nod. They look back at Olivia
"Do you ever think your family hate you because of this condition? Do you think they hold secret hatred as this condition stresses them out as well as you?" Sea Goat Capricorn asked.
Olivia braced herself, knowing these words may shock everyone
"You know what? Even if my family did hate me because of my condition, I'd still love them. It doesn't matter that I'm the only girl, and things seem unbalanced just because I'm one girl with twelve brothers, four fathers and eight uncles. To be honest, it seems this condition is my problem. What's my problem, is my responsibility. I can't rely on my family to care for me all the time. I have to do most of the honours myself. If I have someone to blame, it would have to be myself. I can't always leave it up to my family to find answers and solutions to the condition that's affecting me. And honestly, I have had times where I thought my family have had talked about me and my condition. Thinking that I'm a handful because this condition is doing multiple things to me. I don't care about what happens to me. All I care about, is my family," she said honestly.
The Zodiacs all exchanged looks of shock. They were not only shocked, but they seemed a bit saddened as well.
Olivia rubs her arm
"Truthfully, I'd die for my family. If this condition kills me one day, I wouldn't care. All I would care about, is that the rest of my family are safe, alive, and healthy. I want my family to have a happy life together, with or without me," she says carefully.
All eyes were on Olivia again. Olivia kept it together, she seemed strangely calm and collected, emotionally resilient.
The barriers that separated Olivia and the Zodiacs from everyone else, disappeared. Everyone was looking at Olivia.
The seven creators advanced towards Olivia as the Zodiacs step away
"Olivia, that was incredibly strong of you," Andrew says softly.
Olivia looks at Andrew
"I was only being honest," she says merely
"Honesty or not, what you said to these twelve Zodiacs knowing you don't even know them, was amazing. You told them a truth, and it was your truth. You were strong about it, and that's what amazed and shocked us all. But, there was something quite sad that you said," Andrew spoke cautiously
"Oh. That I said I don't care about myself and that I don't care what happens to me? And for the fact I said it doesn't matter if I die from this condition if there was a chance?" Olivia asked
"Yes, that was it. You were so passionate about it, it saddened us all. You deserve a life, Olivia, with this condition or not," Andrew nods.
Olivia only nods. She finally felt the tears come through, which made her hide a little. She seemed highly emotional at this point.
Jake looked at Olivia and saw she was getting emotional. He carefully got up and approached her, which caused everyone to step away from Olivia.
The two siblings looked at each other, neither said a word for a little while.
