So given this is a Nuzlocke, we all already saw this coming XD Of course Fox was eventually going to end up with Kai, there was little doubt about that, though I suppose the other option was if he was KO'd this early in run that he would have ended up with another trainer just to get him out of the story, buuuut, that would have sucked and I think I would have reset and redid the run if that was the case.
Also, first teammate? First teammate! Honestly love Alolan Rattata, look at their mustaches, just LOOK AT THEM. How could you not enjoy having that little mouse on your team?
