C.J’s POV
Today is a very exciting day for me. A couple of weeks ago I asked Ellie if he would move in with me, and he agreed saying that he would love to and that it would be easier when the baby was born. He approached his parents about it, and despite being a little upset about their last child moving out they offered their support and help with packing. I’m sure that they would enjoy having a house to themselves after all these years, even if it might take a little adjusting to. Ellie thought that he was moving into my apartment, but what I hadn’t told him is that I ended up buying the house that I was looking at earlier. It took a lot of planning, house hunting, and I even had his parents help me tour a couple places with me to get their input which is why they weren’t as surprised when Ellie approached them. I also kept trying to subtly ask Ellie what he thought of certain houses under the guise of Cassidy and Wilbur trying to buy a new house. Ellie was a lot easier to trick than I thought, or maybe he’s been on to me this whole time. It wouldn’t surprise me, my omega is super smart after all.
Ellie didn’t really have that much stuff, but he sure as hell had a lot of clothes. He told me that it was because he stopped growing and could still fit clothes from a long time ago so even if he got new clothes he never got rid of the old ones. I knew that he did get rid of a lot of his closet, but the majority of his boxes were filled with clothes, accessories, or shoes. Good thing I made sure that the construction crew renovated one of the smaller rooms next to the master bedroom into a big walk-in closet that I knew he would appreciate. My mom and Ellie have very similar styles, and my dad knew what kind of things Ellie liked and didn’t like so with us and the help of a professional interior designer I knew that Ellie would absolutely love the house. On the slight chance that he didn’t I would have no problem redoing everything in order to make him happy. The one room that remains undone is the nursery. Omegas are very particular when it comes to nurseries so I wanted to wait for Ellie to plan it out, so I could get it done.
“Bye mom and dad. Thanks so much for helping me pack. See you later this week.” They all gave hugs goodbye, but it wasn’t like we were moving far away so no one was really that sad.
I started to drive us to the new house that I had slowly started to move my stuff from the apartment into hoping that Ellie wouldn’t notice that we were going in a different direction. It worked for the first ten minutes and then he kept asking me where we were going. I just told him that there was an accident so we had to take a detour. He still looked a little suspicious, but didn’t ask any more questions.
As we pulled up to an iron gate, and I put in the code he looked at me with a funny face, “Where even are we C.J? Why didn’t you just tell me if you had to go to one of your friend’s houses before we went to the apartment?”
I just kept driving up the driveway until I got closer to the house before answering, “Cause it’s not a friends house. It’s our house.”
I had never seen Ellie look at me so fast before, and I saw a whole bunch of emotion run across his face from surprise all the way to irritation, “Constantine Delaney, do not tell me that you just bought us a mansion”
“Um well, then I can’t answer you” He just gave me a deadpan look before getting out of the car, and looking up at the house.
“I can’t believe you C.J”, He started crying and I just when I thought he hated it he looked up at me, “I love it. Thank you so much”
I picked him up and held him tight which was a little awkward to do considering he was six months pregnant. I carried him through the front door, and then put him down so that he could look around. It was very amusing and adorable to watch him explore each room and fill with delight at the smallest details. It made me happy to know that he liked the house, especially since we did it without any of his knowledge or input really.
I led him upstairs, and opened the door to one of the rooms, “ I thought this could be the nursery. I know it’s pretty barren right now, but I wanted us to work on it together”
He responded by giving me a big hug and kiss before we moved on to the next room. I showed him the master bedroom which he seemed to love. He blushed when I told him that I had it soundproofed. I then went over to the room right next door. I let him open it, and he squealed in delight at the sight of his walk in closet. I’ll admit this room is any clothes lover's dream. He started rambling about how he couldn’t wait to start putting away his clothes, and all the new clothes he could buy now that he had the room for it. I think that my mom is creating a monster. By the end of this pregnancy you won’t even be able to see me cause I’ll be trapped under all Ellie’s clothes.

It’s been a couple of days of nonstop moving and unpacking and we were finally all settled into the new house. Ellie thought that it would be fun to invite our friends and family over to check out the new house, so that’s what we’re doing right now.
“C.J! Drew is trying to skinny dip in the pool!” Ellie rushed over to me pulling on my arm. I laughed and went over to the backyard to see that Drew was enjoying the pool in his underwear, not trying to go skinny dipping at all. Sometimes you could really tell that Ellie was the baby of his family.
“Oh shut up Ellie. You should have told us to bring our bathing suits if you didn’t want me getting naked” It was not the smartest thing to argue with a pregnant omega, and I could see Ellie starting to get even more annoyed at his older brother so I pulled him back into the house.
“Hey Uncle Ellie can I feel the baby?” Ellie relaxed at the request of his nephew Mason.
“Baby!” Little Max chimed in. Max loved to go everywhere that his older brother went, and Mason didn’t seem to mind at all. It was honestly really cute to watch.
Ellie nodded and sat in the middle of them on the couch letting them rub his belly. Max giggled in delight every time he felt the baby move or even kick against his hand. Our baby is definitely very active, and always seems to sense when someone wants him to move as well.
“Look Maxie, the baby really likes you. Maybe you’ll be his favorite cousin” Ellie giggled moving Max’s hand around his stomach to put it where the baby is.
Max seemed to like the idea and nodded frantically, “I baby’s favite cousin!”
I smiled at the pure cuteness that was my pregnant omega, and a toddler. Mason was slowly becoming my favorite of Ellie’s nieces and nephews. We were going to the game in a couple of weeks, and I was really excited. I love baseball, and for a short period of my life I even considered trying to go professional, but I decided not to pursue it after highschool in favor of focusing on Delaney. Maybe I could talk to Ellie about signing our baby up to baseball as soon as they were old enough. I couldn’t wait to teach him all about batting, and catching. My grandpa is the one that taught me everything I know about baseball, and it would make me so happy if my grandpa would be able to watch at least one of my son’s games before it’s too late.
“Constantine dear, why did you ever wait this long to introduce me to Jacob? Did you know that he used to model when he was younger?” My mom and dad seemed to be hitting it off with Ellie’s parents.
“You used to model dad? Why didn’t you ever tell us?” Jillian and a bunch of Ellie’s other siblings stared at their dad questioningly as he scratched his head sheepishly.
“Dude! Ellie, your brother Drew is great!” I’m surprised that the world didn’t implode from Wilbur and Drew even being in the same room as each other.
Walker then walked into the house rolling his eyes at his brother like usual, “It’s okay Ellie, I’m just as worried”
Walker walked over to Ellie and gave him a quick hug, and tummy rub. I loved that Walker was quickly becoming one of Ellie’s best friends, because I knew that he would do anything for Ellie, and he introduced Ellie to a lot of people who have become some of his really good friends. I’ve gotta say that it’s pretty interesting to see them all hang out, considering Ellie looked so small hanging out with all of these big Alphas that I’m sure he had all wrapped around his finger.
As I looked around our new house I just enjoyed the sight of my new family. My family had grown tenfold since meeting Ellie. I was really lonely, and all I wanted was a mate to love and for them to love me. With Ellie I received everything I wanted and so much more. I didn’t just get a mate. I have a family too, and it was still growing.
