Episode 8: The Roots

"what the ? " people around the battleground would mumble , "i-i don't wanna do this anymore " other would be said uttering this words with a horrified look on their faces , not everyone were against this battle royal as some came to win it all and leave with that money no matter what.

An arrow would be shot straight into another person's neck from the right shoulder who was amongst the crowd as others from the southern side started colliding in a fist fight. Everyone would be standing there looking at each other , waiting for one person to engage then all hell will break loose.

They would be seen in different clothings that represented different traditions and cultures , standing side to side with weapons in their hands , namely spears , shields , swords , kunais , bow & arrows and other weapons that were used in the medieval times. The Sotho Clan would be seen with blankets , unique hats. The Zulu & Xhosa Clan would be seen with their leopard print clothing , the Afrikaaners with their Dutch clothing of red long sleeves jackets , white helmet-like hats.

Other clans would be present like Ndebele & Swati Clan and others. Representing all Pedi,Sotho, Tswana, Swati, Venḓa,Tsonga, Afrikaans, English,Ndebele, Xhosa and Zulu clans. Only Neo seemed like an outsider , because he had a costume on that stood out , one half was a Sotho attire and Tswana attire.

"This war takes me back to my roots and those wonderful times back in the 80s & 90s century , when traditions and cultures in South Africa were more respected , but the mordenization of this world eliminated our roots"

He would wipe his eyes then everything went back to normal as it appeared to be normal again. A fight would break off and that would notify everyone to charge at each other. Spears would be thrown around , everyone getting stabbed , all would be chaotic. One scene around the chaotic and destruction going around , Neo would be seen dodging around then start running as he would spot a woman with a knife stabbing a person's chest area three times then simultaneously dropkick him away as she would twist her body , finishing an opponent that came sneaking behind her with an elbow , blood stains on her face.

She would be seen laughing hysterically as her moment would be cut off with two arrows forcing themselves in her eyes , blood would be seen coming out of her mouth as she fell down on her knees . Neo would have a horrified look on his face which shifted his focus for a bit as he bumped into someone , then he would automatically get sent off with a kick

One by one , they fell. Most of them , they either had arrows sticking out of their bodies , but the person who was doing that was unknown. Moments later a person with unique feats was seen fighting , he would have a well build physique , a little bit tall with wooden brown timberland boots , a muscle shirt that's sleeveless to show off his biceps and triceps. What was odd was the fact that he had a brown paperbag to cover his face.

"Take this you filthy animal "

His voice that was a little bit deep would be heard as he punched his way through the arms that were supposed to block the attack , striking his opponent's face. Suddenly got kicked by another person that came in the way. "Argh I hate cheapshots" as he would grab a little bit of soil , using it to blind his opponent then kicked him away , "I like it when I'm the one doing them!"

He would grab his other opponent as bones would be heard snapping as he started laughing like a maniac , "MORE ! MORE ! MORE!!" he would be screaming those words again and again. He would feel a cold breeze that goes through his body , body so cold it felt like a corpse as he saw Neo diving in front of him as blood stains would be seen flying.

[ 5 Minutes Earlier ]

Prior to those events , Neo would roll to the side after getting kicked to the ground then hit the ground so hard , he would get launched upward then simultaneously twist around then land on the ground. A roundhouse kick would be seen as it would get dodged by backflips , while airborne he would spot the person behind the arrows , the one that has been killing people mercifully behind the shadows. He would start running around the battleground , not engaging in any combat , dodging as much as possible.

"That person kills only those who stand out , I better look for that person and-"

"MORE! MORE! MORE!!"

This scream would be heard as he would then start running towards that paperbag person , as he would jump over the people who were on his way , step on some , using them as a ramp to jump up , throwing himself in front of the arrow that was intended for a foe , blood would be seen flying.

Announcement : New Weapon ]

A silver rectangular shaped bomb with straps on that were brown identified as a limpet mines bombs which are set off by a time fuse. They may also have an anti-handling device , seen on the air as two people would get binded by the straps attaching itself to them , tighting them both as it would explode , leaving everyone to stop what they were doing at the time and shift their attention to the dust were the bomb exploded.

"W-we doing bombs now?!
