An origin story for my DC comics fan-character, Varthax, or V.
A secret child of Uxas, the prince of Apokolips, and his lover Suli, V was a blight on the existence of Queen Heggra, Uxas's mother. So, Heggra took matters into her own hands.
But Apokolips is inhabited by god-like beings, and not many things can destroy a god.
What was lost, will resurface.
Disclaimer: Varthax is the only character I can claim ownership of. Darkseid, Heggra, and the other New Gods are property of DC Comics and were created by Jack Kirby. Suli was created by Mark Evanier.
