Astaroth didn't know what to do. She slowly walked towards where the archdemon and her mother was. When her mother saw her, she yelled at her to stop her from going on.

"Astaroth! Don't come here!"

Astaroth stopped on walking, she was surprised by her mother's yelling. She was about to lose her legs' strength. She didn't really know what to do. Astaroth was about to cry.

"Oh? A little child? So this must be your daughter?" the archdemon looked at Astaroth.

"Don't you dare come near to my daughter!" Astaroth's mother warned the archdemon. Then the archdemon looked at Astaroth's mother and said, "then I shall grant your wish, I will not come close to her... Instead, I will kill her from this distance,"

Astaroth's mother was frightened and was angry. Her emotions were mixed. She tried attacking the archdemon again.

"Astaroth! Get away from here! Go to your father!" Astaroth's mother yelled at Astaroth and that caught her attention.

"B-but," Astaroth was still frightened.

"Astaroth!" her mother yelled again.

Astaroth looked at her mother.

"Please Astaroth, go to your father," her mother smiled at her.

Tears started falling from Astaroth's eyes, "Okay".

While her mother was attacking the archdemon to distract him, Astaroth went to the window to go outside. When she was already outside, her mother stopped attacking.

"Oh? She escaped," the archdemon said.

"Don't you c-come near to h-h-her," Astaroth's mother said.

"Hmm, I guess I'll just end your suffering... Goodbye," the archdemon said.

The archdemon created a black flame with his left hand while still strangling Astaroth's mother. When she was dead, the archdemon dropped her.

Astaroth kept on running and hiding away from the other demons. The angels and demons were still fighting. Only a few of them left already. A few of them were fighting in the sky, while the others are fighting on the ground. This time, Astaroth used her wings to fly up to search for her father, but she couldn't find him. Then she went down and started running. Then she saw a body with similar clothing with her father. She stopped running and went to the body. She couldn't recognize the face for it was burned, the whole body was burned. But she recognized that it was her father. She didn't know that her father already died. So much tears came out from Asatroth's eyes. She cried, she was so sad.

"P-pa... Pa," Astaroth cried softly.

While Asatroth was sitting beside her father's corpse, a demon spotted her. The demon walked towards her. The demon was grinning while walking towards her.

"Hey kid," the demon said.

When the demon caught Astaroth's attention. When Astaroth saw the demon, she panicked. Her emotions were mixed, sadness, and fear. She was anxious. Astaroth moved backward, she threw pebbles and stones that she found on the ground. She threw them at the demon.

"D-don't come near me!" Astaroth anxiously said.

Then she stood up and walked backward. After a few steps, her back hit a wall. The demon was still walking towards her. The demon walked towards her, reaching it's hand out.

"You have nowhere to escape now, stop struggling for I will end your suffering," the demon said.

"No..." Astaroth whispered.

The demon created a fireball with his right hand. A big enough to kill one target.

"No..." Astaroth whispered again.

When the demon was done creating it, he aimed it at Astaroth.

"Goodbye kid, may this end your suffering," the demon said.

"NOOO!!!" Astaroth screamed while covering her face with her two hands.

The demon shot Astaroth with his fireball. But before it reached her, a man suddenly jumped in front of her and received the attack.

"Are you alright kid?" the man asked.

Astaroth uncovered her face, looked at the man, and said, "I'm okay... Who are you?"

"I am Asmodeus, the god of death," the man said.

It was Asmodeus who protected her. The demon was surprised to see Asmodeus survived his fireball.

"What? Who are you?" The demon asked.

"I am Asmodeus, and I am here to bring your death," Asmodeus said.

"Bring my death? Hah! Don't mess with me!" the demon was angered.

The demon created two fireballs this time. But before he could finish, the fireballs were suddenly covered with a dark shadow and the fireballs disappeared along with the dark shadow.

"What!? What did you do,?" the demon was infuriated.

"It's just nothing, it's just a small bit of my magic," Asmodeus said.

"You," the demon was annoyed.

"Now it's my turn... Go, shadow eater," Asmodeus said.

A giant shadow suddenly appeared under the demon. Then it ate him and it disappeared.

"It's okay now kid, you are safe now," Asmodeus said.

"umm," Astaroth said.

"What's your name kid?" Asmodeus asked.

"My... My name is Astaroth," Astaroth said.

"Nice to meet you, Astaroth," Asmodeus greeted her.

"... And so Lord Asmodeus saved me and adopted me, the gods came to our town to save us... Only a few of us angels survived, and the leader of the demon somehow managed to survive and escape," Astaroth said.

"So you were an angel before," Alice said after taking a sip of the tea.

"Yes, I was an angel before... Then Lord Asmodeus gave me a little of his powers and that made me into a fallen angel, I trained every day to become of use to Lord Asmodeus," Astaroth explained.

"You sure had a tragic past... I'm sorry for asking," Alice said.

"No, it's fine," Astaroth said.

It was already almost nighttime. After a few moments, someone opened the door. It was Asmodeus, he was already back from the center building.

"I'm back," Asmodeus said as he looked at Alice and Astaroth.

Astaroth rushed to Asmodeus and shyly said, "welcome home, what do you want first? Dinner? Bath? Or perh-".

"Ah, then I'll eat first, ahahha," Asmodeus said before Astaroth could finish her sentence.

"Lord Asmodeus, you're being mean," Astaroth said.

"Ahaha... Hehehe," Asmodeus faked laughed.

As Alice looked at them, it made her laugh a bit. At first, she thought that they were scary and bad, but it changed her mind, they were good and also fun to be with.
