"That was fun Levi," Parker grinned as he closed Fortnite off. "I was cringing a lot during the stream though."
Levi furrowed his eyebrows at his pc. "Why were you?"
"Playing Fortnite is just cringe, dude. Like who does that any more? Except you, of course," Parker laughed.
"It's either this or Roblox. Those are the only things that those kids would like to watch," Levi replied. "And I rather choose this and that stupid game."
"What do you mean?" Parker asked, almost choking on his drink when he heard what Levi said. "Roblox is better. Some of the games are so on crack that they can entertain me for a whole evening."
Levi scoffed. "I don't believe that."
"Bruh," Parker sighed. "Let's play it sometime. Pick a date and hour. I'll find some crack games. You can stream it too if you want."
"I'll think about it." Levi passed his fingers through his hair and looked back at the number of viewers he had. "Anyway, what are your plans for today?"
"Plans? Don't have any," he replied.
"It's like-" Levi looked at the world clock to see how late it was at Parker's. "5 PM where you live. It's a good Friday afternoon and you're planning on staying home." Levi shook his head. "Wow. Don't you have a girl to hang out with?"
"No..." Parker muttered. "Is that weird?"
"Maybe not where you live, but here, they'd look weirdly at you," Levi replied. "Almost everyone in my class is together with someone or are in some kind of bullshit drama. At work too. I remember that one time when I was working that a colleague of mine was bragging that three girls like him." Levi burst out laughing. "I looked at him like he was talking shit with his ugly ass face," he explained while he tried to stop himself from laughing. "Enough about him. Did anyone catch your eye?"
Parker shook his head but remembered that Levi couldn't see him. "No," he answered. "There isn't anyone interesting at school and I don't talk to a lot of my friends physically, except two of them."
"Both guys?"
"One guy, one girl," Parker said. "Before you want to say something, that girl still likes her ex."
"Yikes," Levi muttered. "But if you want, I can introduce you to some girls that I know. When you come back, of course."
"I'm fine," Parker sighed. "I don't want you playing matchmaker for me anymore. Those dates that I had to go to still haunt me to this day."
"One of the girls is still interested in you," Levi said as he scrolled through his Twitter feed. "It was... Emma? I think?"
"Doesn't matter. I don't have the time for a relationship let alone a long-distance one," Parker replied, rubbing his temples. "It is better if you shut-" Parker jumped up by the sound of his ring tone. He glanced at the screen and saw that Jumin was calling him. "Give me a sec, alright?"
"Okay."
"I don't have to mute, right? He wouldn't understand a word," Parker thought as he answered the phone. "Hello?"
"Hey Park," Jumin greeted. "Do you have plans for tonight?"
"No, not really," he replied. "Just staying indoors, I guess. Why?"
"Would you like to go to the movies with me?" Jumin asked. "Miracle bailed on me because she had to go to the airport for some reason and I was planning to go with you some other day. I understand if you say no."
"I'd love to do," Parker grinned. "We can grab dinner after the movie if you like to. Oh, do you wanna stay over tonight?"
"I'll ask June, alright?"
"Okay. When does the movie start?" Parker asked.
"Half-past 7," Jumin replied. "And the movie self is a little less than two hours long. I'll be at your house in half an hour."
"Okay, see you soon! Bye."
"Bye," Jumin said and hung up.
Parker looked at his phone screen with excitement and he began humming.
"Ahem."
Parker turned to his pc and groaned loudly. "I forgot that you were still in the call."
"So I heard that you're going on a date?" Levi asked, smirking. "And that she's staying over? Oh, Parker, why were you lying to me like that?"
"Are you still with your head up your ass?" Parker sighed. "I was talking to my friend. He said that our friend bailed on him and asked me if I wanted to go with him. And how the hell could you follow that convo?! You struggled to say hello in English."
"You can just say that I became an honor student at school," Levi smirked.
"Liar," Parker scoffed. "Your parents must've said something like, "If you don't learn, we'll take away your streaming privileges."
"That was on spot," Levi laughed. "Anyway, I'll talk to you later. It's already past eleven and I still have to prepare for bed. Go prepare for that date of yours."
"He's a guy!" Parker shouted.
"So?" Levi laughed when he heard Parker's fake cries. "Just kidding. Bye."
"Bye." Parker left the call and began tapping his finger on his desk, his mind wandering off. "What should I wear?" He stood up from his chair and went downstairs. "I should tell dad about it first."
"Dad!" Parker yelled as he opened the door of the living room. Parker stared at Benjamin who was fast asleep on the couch with the TV still on. "DAD!"
Benjamin's eyes shot open and he turned hastily towards Parker. "What the fuck, Parker? You saw me sleeping and you still yell to wake me up! You can give me a heart attack like this!" Benjamin shouted.
"I'm sorry, dad," Parker mumbled. "But I wanted to say that there's a chance that Jumin's staying over."
Benjamin smiled. "Ah, Jumin. My second son," he laughed. "It's fine. What do you boys want to eat tonight?"
"Well, um." Parker turned his attention to the TV. "He asked me if I want to watch a movie with him and I asked him if he wants to grab dinner after that... if it's allowed."
Benjamin glanced at Parker who was eyeing him with a hopeful expression and smiled. "Of course. I'll order some food for myself then."
"Great!" Parker grinned. "Jumin will be here soon, so I'm- Oh?" Parker turned back to the TV. There was a weird reality show that was playing that captured Parker's attention. "What is this?" He asked as he sat down next to Benjamin.
Benjamin shrugged. "I don't know. I was watching soccer and it must've changed when I was sleeping."
"Huh," Parker whispered.
Some time passed by with them laughing about how stupid the show is. Benjamin could've changed the channel back anytime that he wanted, but they became so absorbed in the show that he forgot that it even existed. After a while, they heard the bell ring. Parker, who forgot that Jumin was supposed to come by, stood up from the couch and went to the front door.
"Hey Park," Jumin smiled when he saw Parker opening the door.
Parker's eyes widened and looked down at Jumin. "Ah, shit."
