A lot of the character designs I've been using thus far are In game NPCs, though I'm sure some designs were made up on the spot. At this time I wasn't posting anything publicly, so I wasn't utilizing any characters for cameos as I would have liked to keep scenes more interesting and varied, though there's also the issue of the page taking a lot longer if there's characters on the page that have more going on with their design, so my rule was always: Keep it simple, dummy.

XD Lucky for me, Pokemon as a series, for the MOST part (not always, and you'll see this later) have very simple designs for their characters, which I'm assuming is to make them easier to animate and to keep the appearance of their characters cohesive to one another (though you can still tell who the specialized characters are from your run of the mill folks.)
