Maximino's head was aching when he woke up and his upper body is hurting. He is sitting on a stool while his head is resting on the bar counter.

After the confrontation that happened between him and Nexus, he went inside his home's own bar and drank there until he fell asleep.

He was rubbing his shoulders and his nape as he looked around the bar. Lots of empty wine and broken glasses were scattered on the floor.

He no longer knew what time he fell asleep nor did he know how many bottles of wine he had consumed. The only thing he remembered is how frustrated and how mad he is that he made a mess inside his own bar.

He took a glance at his wristwatch. It's already 11 A.M.

He stood up and staggered towards the bar door. He can't help but close his eyes everytime he makes a step, for it worsens his headache.

"Damn!" He said as his hand went into his neck and slowly massaged it.

Looks like Lex was really right. He really is stupid. He is stupid for thinking that by making himself drunk, he, somehow will forget his worries and frustrations. But instead of forgetting, all he ever got is a headache and a body pain.

When he got out of the bar, he found some of his housemaids and his butler, busying themselves with their respective jobs. When they noticed him, they all bowed down at once and greeted him respectfully.

He did not bother to answer them. Instead, his eyes went on the butler, Rosal, whom he assigned to personally watch over and take care of Nexus when he's away. "Where is he?" He asked Rosal.

"He is in your room, Señorito. He hasn't gone out since last night and he still hasn't eaten since yesterday." She answered quickly but politely.

He sighed then nodded. "I'll take care of him." He said as he walked towards the staircase. "I'll be going to our room. Don't let anyone disturb us." He said with authority.

"Yes, Señorito." The butler replied.

When Maximino reached the upper floor of his house, he made his way towards his room and stood right in front of it's closed door.

The truth is he doesn't know how to deal with Nexus after what all the things that he revealed to him last night. He didn't even know what to say.

There are so many questions running through his head. Questions that only Nexus can answer.

He wants to know a lot about the past. He wants to know why he suddenly stopped studying and suddenly disappeared like a bubble. And how he ended up with the kind of lifestyle that he had before he took him forcibly. Another thing is that he also needs to clear his name. He has to tell him his side.

He quietly cussed when his head ached again.

"Damn hangover!" He said then looked at the closed door.

He took a cpuple of deep breaths before he decided to open the door. He was quietly glad that it wasn't locked.

He went in and closed the door. He walked over to the bed, where Nexus was lying sideways, then he looked at the bedside table where the tray of food was set.

"I heard that you haven't eaten anything since yesterday." He said in a calm manner.

He did not get an answer from Nexus but he knew he was awake and was just qietly listening.

He sighed as he sat on the edge of the bed and clasps his hands, his back on Nexus. "Nexus, I know you're awake." He softly said.

But he still did not get an answer from Nexus.

The clasping of his hands tightened. He's starting to lose his patience. He wanted to pull him and force him to eat but he restrained himself.

Damn himself for being impatient and for having little patience.

He did not want to admit it but his cousin, Lex was right. Using force on Nexus won't help him, tho he failed last night and he still was not able to restrain himself, that led them to this.

"Just eat, Nexus. Then after you eat, let's talk." He said, trying to calm himself.

"We have nothing more to talk about." Nexus answered weakly but firmly.

"There is." He answered quickly. "Look, I wanted to have a serious conversation with you, Nexus. A conversation with no yelling and without you, cursing me." He sighed. "I just...I just wanted to know what happened in the past. I just wanted you to tell me things that I didn't know. Things that I should have known."

Nexus fell silent again and it just frustrated him even more than he already is. Add to that the recurring pain in his head.

"Fine. If you don't want to eat and talk, then don't. Just listen to me. Just...hear me out, okay?" He said then took a deep breath before he speak again. "I admit. I was an asshole for doing all those terrible things to you in the past. But I have my own reasons, Nexus." He looked at the still-lying Nexus. "I...I just want you to notice me." He saw how Nexus flinched a little after he said those words. Nexus didn't seem to expect he would be hearing those words from h and it made him smile a little. He looked back at his clasp hands. "The moment I saw you, I already knew it. I already knew that you are destined to be my pair, to be my mate. That you are destined to be mine. So I approached you. I tried to be friends with you. I did different things for you to notice me and for you to remember me. But you never did. You never did notice me, Nexus. And that made me mad and I got frustrated. All my life, I have never wanted anything that I could not get. I always get what I want even without asking for it. Everyone who knew me wanted to get close to me. They all wanted to be with me, they wanted to be me. But you, you, whom I really wanted, never look at me. Instead, you just acted as if you don't know me, as if I did not exist. And that is why I resorted to doing those things. I thought that by doing those terrible things towards you, my anger and frustration would somehow be lessened. I thought that by doing those things, you will finally be able to notice me and remember me. And you did, Nexus. You finally noticed me. You finally remembered my name." He completely changed his seat and this time, he was facing the still-lying Nexus, he put one of his feet on the bed. "And I apologize. I apologize for lying to you last night. Because the truth is, I am not really sorry for doing those things to you in the past. I do not regret every single thing that I did. Because if I did not do those things, you won't be able to notice me, and if I did not do those things, then there would not be anything that would connect us. So if there is something that I would like to apologize, that is for not regretting doing those things, Nexus." He said honestly and sincerely.

Everything he said is nothing but just pure honesty.

He knew what he did to Nexus was wrong but he did not regret it. Because if he had not done those things, perhaps even now, Nexus would not have noticed him.

He thought Nexus would remain silent. He was about to continue speaking when Nexus suddenly spoke. "Do you also not regret asking your goddamn friends to rape me?" Anger can be heard in Nexus' voice.

He gritted his teeth. "I have no regrets about that thing because I never did that. Yes, I am a sucker for you and for your attention but I did not even think of doing that. I never asked anyone to rape you, Nexus. I never did!"

Nexus quickly sat down and faced him. Anger can be seen in his eyes. "And do you think I would believe you?! After all that you have done to me, do you really think I would still believe you?"

"But that is the truth!" Maximino answered in frustration. "I am telling you the truth, Nexus! Yes! I bullied you, harrased you and humiliated you for being an omega but I would never and will never let anyone touch you! Not under my watch!"

He is possessive to Nexus. He could not even accept the fact that lots of different men touched him and fucked him and now he is accusing him of being the initiator of the rape case that happened to him years ago?

There is no way in hell he would do that! There is no way in hell he would let just any other assholes to touch him! There is no fucking way!

He tried to reach for Nexus' hand but Nexus did not let him. "Don't fuck with me, Maximino. You may see me as a weak omega which you could easily take advantage of, but I am not that stupid enough to just believe you." Nexus said through gritted teeth as he looked at him with his sharp and deadly eyes.

He knew it. He knew this wouldn't be easy. He knew he would not simply just believe him. But he has no plans of just stopping here. He will prove to him that he's got nothing to do with the accusations he's throwing at him.

He stood up. And without taking his eyes off of Nexus and with seriousness in his voice, he said, "It wasn't me, Nexus. And I will prove it to you."

And with that, he turned his back on him and made his way out of the room.

When he left the room, he went into the living room and made his way towards the telephone. Then he dialed Lex' phone number.

Just a few rings and Lex immediately answered the call. And before his cousin could even speak, he preceded, "I need you to do something for me." He said in a serious and dangerous tone.
