I left Mo's house around six, and walked into my own home to see my mother cooking.
"Hey, lady." Mom greets. I smile.
"Hey, Mom."
"How was your first day? I'm assuming you made a friend, considering that you've been at their house for three hours?"
I laugh and sit in a chair backwards. "Great. And her name is Mo. She's awesome."
My mom smiles and hands me a fork with some weird yellow-pink thing on it.
"Try it." She has a huge, anxious smile on her face.
I stare at her like she's an idiot. "Mom! Are you nuts?! I can't eat anything except for-"
I was interrupted by her finger to my lips.
"I've been working on it. It's the same texture as you-know-what, but tastes like dumplings!"
My eyes stay wide as I bite my lip. "Mom-"
"Honey, if you can't handle it, just throw it up and I'll apologize and owe you my life."
I sigh. My mom always tries to make me food that is the same texture as, well, you know, but it never works. My body rejects it and I up chuck. Barf. Puke. Spew. Blow chunks. You get the picture.
I grab the fork, and my mom gets the bucket from the cubbard.
I bite.
I vomit everywhere.

My mom cleans up the mess (I used the 'owes her life' card). I take my pills and sit in the kitchen.
Torrio comes in from his room, staring and tapping away at his phone.
"Ohmygodohmygodohmygod-" he stammers as he walks in. He shoots his head up and stares at me and Mom.
"Okay! Everyone out!" He points to the hall. We stare at him.
"The hell why?" I say. Torrio rolls his eyes.
"Justin's coming over! Y'all need to leave!" Torrio bites his lip and his 'I'm always chill' facade completely disappeares.
My mom perks up. "He is? Oh, I want to meet him so bad."
Torrio's about to yell when there's a knock on the door. He sweats and bites his lip.
"That's him." He sweeps his hair over to the right and takes a deep breath, but he's totally freaking out underneath. He opens the door, and a tall, strawberry blonde twig-of-a-guy stands there.
Torrio waves for him to wait and steps outside. He closes the doorr, and me and Mom secretly look out the window as Torrio and Justin wrap their arms around each other and make out. I want to look away, but honestly can't.
When I think they're going to stop, Justin brings his hands to Tori's waist and pulls him closer. I glance at my mom, her eyes glued to her son and his boyfriend. I look back, and Justin already has one of Torrio's legs propped on his hip as they lean against the house. I start to walk off but stop when my mom says, "If that adorable bastard even thinks about taking off his shirt, I will break his neck."
I look back after she says it, and see that Tori's not even touching the ground anymore. He is wedged between the house and Justin, both legs on his hips as they make out. It's weird. Torrio acts like he's this cool, sexy thing when people are around, but he's such a dramatic drama king (yes I am aware of the double dramas).
I feel a small smile crawl on my face. Tori's happy. So I'm happy for him.
