This was a request by an anonymous person. If you ever want a commission, feel free to talk to me on Twitter.
This was the first time I was messing with a character that wasn't my own and despite the fact that my time and effort wasn't paid for, it gave me a lot of insight on how I should approach commissions if I ever do one. You can tell he was very passionate about his character but just remember to respect your artists.
There are a lot of little mistakes that I would never do for my own pictures but the quality of the picture still shines.
There are a lot of things I wanted out of this.
Dynamic pose. Everyone always does something different with their arms and hands and It's annoying to draw but it's worth it every time. The center doesn't look too cluttered and that's all I can ask for.
Dynamic camera angle. 2 point perspective babee. It was subtle but at least it's not like my other 45 degree poses. The shadow really sells it.
Dynamic lighting/shading. Fire means an alternate light source. Fire good.
Glasses are sickkk.
I just discovered the Airbrush. This is too much power. Someone please stop me.
I don't know what I was doing when I created the fire but it looks like Mob Psycho and that is awesome.
It was my first time drawing a girl. Honestly, I may have gone a bit too far.
Open-shoulder sweater? low.
Skirt? high.
Thigh-highs? skindentating.
It's all in good fun. It felt satisfying and liberating.
Inspired by multiple Fire Emblem characters who have swishy fire effects but mostly Robin and Lysithea.
Miku (It's got a bit of Miku energy right? Especially the skirt)
Every piece has a story but I just draw for fun. Does Pokémon Art Academy count as art education?
Many pictures were shrunken down to fit Tapas' 940px width limit. Ask me if you want to see the original picture
