Journal Entry #3

Yuu is an interesting boy. He rambles on about a strange world called Earth. He told me not to tell anyone, but there are many worlds out there waiting to be discovered, but it is unsafe to try and get to these worlds.

A man named Varnes is destroying worlds as we speak and is taking his revenge on our supposed Goddess.

It all seems like a fairytale, but I let him speak.

He also said that he met a family of Wizards who is looking for Guardians to stop Varnes. These heroes are said to bring down the threat and have been chosen by the Goddess herself. Yuu even went as far as to say these Guardians may not even be born yet. So the family of Wizards is training their young to prepare for their arrival.

Foolishness. I was hoping that the fool would tell me how he came upon this world, but he told me he couldn’t say. He found himself here one day after his world had been swallowed up by a mysterious darkness.

Becca decided to drop by again today. She brings me food since I no longer eat dinner with her family. They are too religious for me to bare. They praise the Goddess for their meals and their lives. It makes me sick.

Becca tells me that she is unsure of the Goddess's existence as well. She is the only person I tell my theories to. I tell her that I want to leave this world and ask if she will come with me.

She wants to.

Maybe there is some good in my life… I hope that Becca stays by my side.
