Everyone who has lived through death faces it differently. Depending on who you are losing, our reaction will be either minimal or extreme. It also depends on our relationship with that person and how much our heart loved them and how our soul clung to theirs. But no matter how we deal with death, because in the end, the most important thing is to forgive the person who has left us or to let them go completely. The most important thing is to let their memory no longer hurt us.
No matter what death we face, we must accept the situation. We must understand the reasons, even if they seem absurd to us. Even if all what we can feel inside ourselves is contradictory with those reasons.
To face death requires a great sacrifice from us. Death asks us to let go a person we loved with all our heart. It asks us to let go of the hand we had spent so much time holding, reminding us never to let go of it.
And when some people decide to call death, I constantly wonder what makes people stop fighting. Which reason is strong enough to suck up all the strength a person once had? What is so black to swallow all the determination of a person to keep moving foward?
Many think it's because this person was not strong enough. They did not have enough willpower. Enough courage to fight their demons. But it's not enough to be strong. We can be strong and yet not have the strength to fight. Unforunately everything depends on how damaged our soul is.
