Learning about misophonia for the first time

When I learned about misophonia I felt so relieved. All my life I'd thought I must be crazy when sounds that didn't seem to bother anybody else made me unable to function. When the issue was named, it was easier to find other people suffering from it and get help. And to be a bit kinder to myself.

I remember someone on the internet suggesting I have Misophonia when I explained my symptoms, I started bawling cuz I could relate to almost all of the severe problems. Too bad that that I learned about Misophonia when I was 19, and not in high school when I was at my worst.
