Footsteps grew closer towards the two, as Eric frowned. In front of him, was a man, with a smug look on his face, eyeing on his bike.

"My, such a nice bike you have there." The man said as he walked closer towards the two. Following after the man, the footsteps from the surrounding area soon stopped.

"..." Ryan scanned the area as he saw the encirclement of multiple people, who seemed prepared to fight, surrounding them. Being on high alert from the sight, Ryan leaned onto Eric as he whispered in his ears.

"Hey... Eric, try not to initiate any unnecessary fights."

"Tsk, what?" Eric clicked his tongue as he heard the whisper, "It'll be easier if I just throw them out of the way than to listen to their bullshit."

"...I don't want us to be the center of attention the moment we start a fight. It's best we just end this calmly..." Ryan sighed helplessly as he continued to observe his surroundings.

As Ryan observed the area, Eric turned towards the man who still had a smug look his face, "Tsk, what do you want?"

"Oh you know what I want," The man smirked as he walked closer to the two.

"Cut to the chase."

"That bike you got there. Give it to me."

"And if I say no?" Without hesitation, Eric replied.

"Ahahaha... No? Do you know who I am?"

"And what do I care to know who you are?"

"Tsk, disrespecting me, who do you think you are huh? Ah... Now that I look at you more closely, your new in these parts huh? A visitor? Hmm..." The man glanced over towards Eric and Ryan as he analyzed them, "Well, I'll let your remarks off this time since you're new. Instead, let me explain the basics of this place. In these parts, you entered our territory, you see, and do you know who rules this area? It is 'The Vipers'."

"And?" Eric yawned.

"Ahem, and we're part of the 'The Vipers' you see. So do you know what that means? Yes! It means I have the backings of the vipers, so if you don't listen to me, you'll have a bad time."

After the man had concluded his explanation, silence protruded the area for a full minute.

"I said you'll have a bad time," The man repeated again.

"..."

"Grr... I said you'll have a bad time if you don't give me your bike, and then 'The Vipers' will let you off." Annoyed with silence, the man repeated again.

"Oh just F#$k off. We're busy." Eric gave the finger to the man as he prepared the gears on the vehicle again.

"What? F#$k off? You dare? Tsk, I guess playing nice gets us nowhere." The man gestured towards the people nearby as they drew their encirclement closer towards the two.

"Bah, I'm the one playing nice here, so you better shut the hell up before you'll regret it. Leave us alone or face the consequences," Eric sneered at the group of people who seemed to be preparing their powers,

'Damn it, Eric...' Ryan inwardly cursed, as he looked over towards Eric, who was smiling.

"Tsk, I'm not here to play games. Last warning. Give us that bike and we'll let you off or-" The moment the man was about to end his sentence, a flame-like ball shot towards him. In the next instance, Eric jumped up from his bike as he unleashed a sudden burst of flames onto the man.

"Just shut the hell up."

Eric said as his flames burnt through the ground. As the flames cleared out, the man was unharmed. A light blue barrier surrounded the man as he glared at Eric with bloodshot eyes.

"Argh...! You...! Everyone full-on attack!" The man shouted in anger as he ordered the assault, the next moment, the group began leaping forward as they activated their powers.

One after another, spikes, waves and the like began to fly over towards Eric.

"Argh! Eric, I told you to avoid any unnecessary fights!" Ryan cried out as frostbites began appearing around Ryan's hand. Soon after, Ryan sent a wave of icy glacial spikes over towards the projectiles, freezing and breaking them apart.

As the spikes were sent, Ryan lightly jumped from the bike as he leapt towards one of the people from the encirclement. Creating a frozen dagger, Ryan slashed through the man who didn't see it coming.

"Arghh...!!" The man cried out.

"Get him!"

"Don't let him attack!"

The group hurriedly scurried over towards Ryan as they began to use their powers again, one of the group members summoned a large wave of crescent waves over to Ryan.

"Tsk..." Ryan clicked his tongue as he jumped backwards avoiding the crescent waves, however, a sudden strike of thunder shot from behind him as he was hit.

"Argh...!" He endured the electrocution as Ryan sent projectiles of frost spikes over towards the direction of the electricity.

From afar, Eric was busy sending countless flames towards the man who kept tanking the flames with his barriers.

"Hah! Is that all you got?" The man smirked.

"I should be asking you that!" Eric rushed forward, as he unsheathed his Tachi, Rengoku. Soon after slashing at the blue barrier. The force of collision quickly broke the barrier as Eric sent a quick lash of flame over towards the man who was behind it.

"...!!!' Unable to fend off against the attack in time, he was hit.

Following up his flames, Eric leapt forward as he unleashed a burning barrage of heat on the man quickly sending him back over towards a wall.

"Ah...! Haider!" The group members cried out as they saw the scene occurring from afar from them. Distracted by it, Ryan quickly took the opportunity as he sent a row frost spikes over towards the group member, quickly hitting them.

Ryan rushed forward as he slashed at the group members who were stunned by the attack, quickly making them fall to the ground.

"Huff... huff..."

Ryan breathed heavily as he looked over towards the situation where Eric is.

"What? Is that all you got?" Eric walked closer towards the man who was knocked towards the wall.

"Grr... Damn you...!" Haider abruptly got up as he charged forward towards Eric.

"Are you kidding me right now?" Eric stepped forward as he grabbed onto the man's arm, quickly pinning him down.

"ARGH...! LET ME GO! LET ME GO!" Haider cried out as he tried to remove the grip from Eric.

"Oh, I will, if you f#$k off and leave this damn place."

"GRRRR!!" Haider growled at Eric.

"B-Brother Haider... Let's just leave..." a group member who was taken down by Ryan hesitantly said.

"Tch fine! We'll leave the area!"

Hearing the man giving in, Eric let go of him. The moment the man was let go off, the man hurriedly got up as he glared at Eric, "Mark my words! The Vipers will pay you back!" He said as he scurried out of the area.

"Oh, sure! Make sure to pay me back in cash as compensation!" Eric sarcastically shouted back.

Watching the group members getting up and leaving hurriedly, Ryan sighed as he glared at Eric, "Did you seriously have to leave me alone to handle them?"

"Eh, you did fine. Now let's go, we still have that damn mission to do yes?" Eric smirked as he got back on his bike.

"...You" Ryan helplessly shook his head as he walked over towards the bike.
