I found this series in the Community Picks collection, and I wanted you to know that I'm enjoying it a lot. You've clearly invested some careful thought into your worldbuilding. I run some Cyberpunk roleplaying games in which I like to emphasize scarcity. I admire how you are able to play up that theme without relying on much on the fictional technologies of that genre.
A fictional near-future country named Eridu decides to use a rationing system, after the effects of climate change cause a global crisis. In a northern town named Dagon, a black market thrives. A recently relocated young man teams up with a local trader deep in debt, in hope to get a permit out of Earth. But as expected, things never go as planned.
