Ian walked around the lake, trying to make sure that the lake is safe and guard the location until his whole pack came.
The moon light was pale. There weren’t any star at that night. Ian sat down at the grass, gazed up silently.
He’s trying to not think about anything. Everytime he’s alone, he’d always remember his deceased mom, who was an omega too. Her mom died on a mission when she went with her pack. Ian was still a child at that time, a child that don’t even know who his father is.
He exhaled. “It’s all in the past,” then he closed his eyes.
The moment went he closed his eyes, a voice came through the bushes behind him.
He immediately open his eyes and turned himself around, and stood in his cautioned position, waiting for the moment to attack whoever was at the behind of bushes.
“Ew! I never walk through an alley as narrow as that before. It’s not only narrow, it stinks!” A voice came through behind the bushes.
That’s when a tall guy, wearing a red cap with a star shaped hairpin on the cap, walking though the bushes. His red-black-colored hoodie was full of wet mosses, dry leaves and even some insects.
He stinks like the alley Ian went through before.
“Who are you?” Ian asked, putting his guard on. Based on the smell that guy have, Ian assumed that this guy has been following him since he went through that narrow alleys.
“Why did you follow me?” Ian asked again, before that guy could answer him.
“It’s me who need to ask you. Why are you here?” the guy asked while picking up the dry leaves off of his clothes.
“And how did you know this place?” he asked again.
Ian looked at him sharply.
