That bag is a bag of holding. The magic in it also allows the magnetism ability in-game to work. Also makes cleaning up after weeding and chopping wood and the like a lot easier, too, as it does the cleaning as the wearer works. Instead of the in-game backpack upgrades, there are charms that get attached that increase the carrying capacity of the bag or basket used instead. Likewise, for the magnet rings, both bag and ring must be worn for the ring to work.
Taking gameplay aspects and turning them into comic form can be tricky!
And yes, Star needs to build their stamina up, barely noon and already asleep for the night.
