Aaand we´re finished!
Thank you so much for reading - I hope you enjoyed the story, although it is very short!
Eda & Roach has been my entry for Clip Studio Paint’s international comic contest that was hosted last year.
When I made the decision to participate, I was very aware that the chances to win were extremely low, with amazing competition from all over the world.
With that in mind, I did my best to create a story that - while having to fulfill the requirements for the contest - I would also truly enjoy drawing.
And let me tell you: It’s been a real ride.
Many tears went into this project, partly because of my tight working schedule, partly because the theme feels very intimate and almost therapeutic to me.
So thank you again for tagging along!
Maybe we´ll meet Eda and Roach again someday, as there are so many stories untold here and my fingers are already itching to explore more of their world!
Thank you so much for sharing :)
I'd definitely be up for more if you ever decide to revisit this world. I love postapocalyptic scenarios and your drawing style is a breath of fresh air for the genre. Interesting characters as well, and a happy ending! :D
In a deserted world, Eda and Roach are living in a small hut, making the best of their situation.
One day, militias arrive and Eda is forced to make a promise she knows might be impossible to keep.
