I feel like pressure is the #1 thing that stifles my creative growth. If I feel like I'm trying to please someone else, I end up getting consumed with anxiety. I had a friend who was super elitist about art and they rubbed off on me in the worst possible way. I am mostly over it now but hoo boy if the people you're hanging out with just make you more insecure, RUN
