Of course... the original "her", it seems. Even if it might be a bit of a jump to assume it's the banshee- foxes do indeed make those kinds of noises!
IRISHISMS: BANSHEE
A spirit woman who screams and wails before someone's meant to die. Some people think of her as a harbringer of death; others just as a messenger. There's meant to be many banshee in Ireland... and some believe they've even followed some of the emigrants who've left the nation over the centuries!
