- yeah so Slumbering Wealds? as we've established, extremely dangerous and off bounds. the boys done goofed.
- spot the Spiderverse reference. This will not be the only Spiderverse reference in this comic I'm sorry that movie makes me weak in the knees
-protagonists being handed a Pokemon and NOT being immediately kicked out to explore the world? in MY nuzlocke comic? It's more likely than you think...

-FINALLY OUR FIRST CATCH IT ONLY TOOK US 5 PAGES BUT WE GOT ONE LADS!
Martin! He was named after George R.R. Martin whose books I don't even read but I was researching authors for a project or something at the time. Again I didn't use a naming theme in this run but some of the catches names came from me glancing at my bookshelf or whatever research stuff I had open on my laptop at the time so get ready for some author/painter names hoho.
-If you're wondering why the wild Route 1 mons have very stylized designs despite being bg characters... its bc I lowkey was hoping for a Wooloo catch on the first route. I really wanted a grumpy old Wooloo to be a foil to Hop's Wooloo but the game had other plans haha so I had to shove that idea elsewhere in the comic
