NOTES:
-I was basically today years old when I realized those candies + gummies they gave to kids in girl guides who fell/scraped themselves doesn't actually cure your scrape, they're just to keep the kids occupied and stop crying. Wild.
-Do you ever think about how certain Pokemon in the overworld run away from you if you approach them? As it turns out, Pokemon are indeed sentient creatures with their own lives and agency outside of humans, who would've thought!
-It also turns out that if you're a sheltered kid who doesn't have much experience with Pokemon outside of obsessing over the glorified League and Gym matches, you may not have considered this before.
-I'M SINCERELY SORRY FOR ALL THE EMO TUMBLE CONTENT THIS IS NOT GOING TO BE A CONSTANT THING I PROMISE but sometimes you gotta smack the optimistic, naive protagonist with a healthy dose of reality.
-A lot of people caught the mention of Harper's family on page 6, and here's the payoff! Harper's siblings are loosely based on the veiled chameleon (which is what Sobble's design was based off) as they breed more than once a year. I majorly lessened the number of eggs laid, though, because I'm not drawing 80+ siblings in Harper's clutch, haha. I know Sobble don't technically exist in the wild in the games but I mean, Leon had to get those starters from somewhere right?
-The infamous Tumble lore,,, yes Unova is actually gonna play a minor role here, but all in due time.
A Pokemon SwSh comic about a boy and his Sobble, who dreams of becoming the top Gym Leader of the Galar League like his hero. But when he embarks on his journey to accomplish his goals and make memories with his friends, he finds that the long forgotten gods of the region have a different destiny in store for him.
(Nuzcomic based on a nuzlocke playthrough of Pokemon Sword. TW for major character death, mild blood/swearing, and injury typical of nuzcomics.)
