NOTES:
-the gifts in the first scene are all based on in game items I gave my team members. I don't think I obtained all of them in Motostoke (I didn't take specific notes on that) but the Mystic Water is based on the in game item Leon gives you in Motostoke.
-Registration is open for all eligible gym challengers on the same day, all day long to give people the chance to travel to the city. It's why Motostoke is the biggest stadium (aside from Wyndon's) since all the registration process takes place there!
-Gym Challengers have to sign waivers so the Gyms aren't responsible for any accidents that occur during Gym battles or on the road in between Gyms :3c
-People immediately caught this on discord when I posted WIPs, but 816 is Sobble's National Pokedex number! I used that in game as a place holder til I actually wrote the script, but in the end, it was fitting enough to make it through each draft.
-Trainer Cards! Loosely based mine off that one I made in five seconds, tried to digitally resize it to give it that plastic, pixel-y look. I imagine the challengers are given fairly free reign on what they want their cards to look like so long as it's appropriate - they each get two free ones for their own personal usage, and once the Gym Challenge begins they print the actual trading cards with the flavour texts on the back.
-After all the signing up and opening ceremony is done, it's traditional to hold something of a celebration in Motostoke. The Gym Challengers hang out in the lobby, the Gym Leaders have their own room to themselves to have one nice night before the Gym Challenge officially begins.
-Usually, Gym Challengers keep one of their free cards for themselves - it's an unwritten tradition to get your sponsor to sign that card. It's kinda odd to ask anyone else who isn't a close friend/family member to do so, but Tumble has one brain cell. Sorry, Raihan.
