A young man walked into a grand dining room inside the Dukes Manor

"Welcome Sir Issac," a portly man in a rather fancy suit greeted a tall young man with red hair and green eyes.

"Greetings Duke Starborn." Issac bowed as he greeted the Duke.

"How is your father nowadays, I haven't seen him in a while?" The Duke asked.

"He is quite well," Issac answered.

The doors of the grand hall swung open and a beautiful young lady with white hair and red eyes wearing a low cut dress that showed off her figure walked in.

"Ah, Azalea my dear come in, meet Sir Issac Minther, First son of Marquess Whitherman." The Duke said to the young lady who just entered the room.

"Pleasure to meet you," Azalea told the man as she took a seat.

"The pleasure is all mine," Issac said her, as he took his seat, "Well since you are here we can move onto the reason for my visit, I wish to propose a marriage between me and Ms.Azalea."

"What would you give for the hand of my daughter?" The Duke asked.

"My father is willing to give the Starborn family access to the Qourime mines and Sharpfang mountains, as well as merging our two lands which take up 15% of the entire Kingsmire kingdom," Issac explained.

"I refuse." Azalea coldly said.

As the three people at the Dukes Manor were discussing the proposal, Jason was walking in town looking for anything that would help him understand this place better. He eventually wandered into a tavern. Jason went to the bar and ordered a drink from the bartender and sat down to see if he could find any useful information about how to leave this realm.

"Did you see that weird black thing that appeared in the sky a few hours ago?"

"Yeah, and did you hear that someone came out of it and angered the Duke's second daughter, she even sent the city guard to look for him and put a 500 gold bounty on him."

"Really?!! It was bad enough that those things make the monsters near the ruins stronger and more aggressive but now we gotta worry about things coming outta them too."

"Well if I run into this beast I will take it down with ease and make the Duke's daughter fall head over heels for me."

"Haha, yeah and I'm going to stop drinking this fine beer here."

While the men were talking Jason walked up to the group

"Excuse me, would you mind telling me were the ruins you were talking about," Jason asked the men.

"Huh, you new around here boy?" A big man with a braided beard asked.

"Uh, yes I am a traveling mercenary looking for adventure I happened to overhear your conversation about how strong and aggressive monsters are appearing near some ruins," Jason told them.

"Haha well, I suggest that you go someplace else for your adventurer kid you'll only lose your life if you head there."

"I'm pretty good at killing monsters I will be fine," Jason told them.

"Well if you're that set on dying head to the Duke's Manor, You need his permission to visit them nowadays."

"Thanks."

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU REFUSE?!" Issac yelled.

"Its as I said I refuse." Azalea calmly told the man.

"Dear, you realize that the Quorime mines produce Qourime which is used to make Soul weapons and the Sharpfang mountains produce Hela Herbs which make Epic Health potions." The Duke told his daughter.

"Yes I am well aware but I will not marry a man who only wants to use me or my father to gain more power," Azalea said.

"YOU DAMN WOMAN DO YOU REALIZE HOW BIG OF AN OPPORTUNITY  YOU ARE THROWING AWAY,"  Issac shouted as he jumped up out of his seat," DUKE STARBORN ARE YOU REALLY GOING TO REFUSE MY FAMILY."

"Young man you seem to forget that I AM MORE POWERFUL than your father and this is my house and I will not allow my family to be disrespected by a lesser family like yours," the Duke told the man.

Issac couldn't believe what was happening, HE Issac Minther, one of the most sought after men, was being turned away by a woman. He wouldn't take this kind of humiliation. He grabbed the knife on the table and lunged at Azalea.

Azalea's eye widened in shock when she saw the man lunged at her and covered her face with her arms.

"Well, you really are a distasteful girl that even your own fiance wants to stab you huh." A familiar voice asked her.
