Seungtae and Yeona both blinked, their trip down memory lane finished.
“Sooo....you came.” Seungtae said softly.
“Yeah,” Yeona replied quietly. “I can go if you don’t want me here.” She started to turn to leave.
“No!” Seungtae exclaimed. Yeona startled, then looked back at him.
“I mean...” Seungtae said at a lower tone this time. “Please. Stay.” He gave her a small smile. “I’m sorry for what happened. And….if you really don’t want to be here, you can go.”
“I’m sorry too, and of course I want to stay... but...you’re not mad at me?” Yeona’s eyes were wide.
“Why would I be?” Seungtae let a small laugh. “I forgave you the day after we fought.”
“What a coincidence-I did too.” Yeona’s face broke into a smile. Then she walked over to Seungtae and gave him a hug.
“I missed you.” Yeona whispered softly.
“I missed you too.” Seungtae patted her back, and hugged her tightly. They separated after a few seconds, smiling at each other.
Seungtae noticed the bag. “What’d you bring?”
“Oh, I brought popcorn and a movie for us to watch.” Yeona went over to the microwave and prepared the popcorn. She tossed the movie to Daewi, who caught it and put it into the DVD player.
Yeona poured the popcorn into a big bowl, and walked back to Daewi and Seungtae. “Now who’s ready to watch a movie?”
They all huddled on the hospital bed, a blanket around the three, and they watched the movie.
Yeona noticed Seungtae wasn’t eating any popcorn. “Seungtae, don’t you want any?”
Seungtae looked away with a sad look on his face. “I’m just not feeling very hungry these days."
“....!” Yeona stared at him. “Seungtae, you need to eat. Please. I’m worried about you.”
“.....Fine.” Seungtae took some of the popcorn and ate it. He forced a smile. “There. I’ll eat some more throughout the movie.”
“Ok….” Yeona took some of the popcorn and ate it uncertainly. Daewi watched the two of them silently. After a minute, they all continued watching the movie.

Daewi yawned and stood up once the movie was over. “I have to get home. You two haven’t seen each other in months, so you guys catch up. I asked the nurse, and she said it would be fine for Yeona to stay the night.”
“You really think of everything, don’t you.” Yeona sweatdropped.
“Of course.” Daewi smiled, gave a small wave and left.
Seungtae and Yeona sat in silence. Then Seungtae let out a small groan. “I don’t feel so good.”
“Here.” Yeona handed Seungtae a bucket from under the hospital bed. Promptly, Seungtae vomited all he ate during the movie. Worriedly, Yeona rubbed him on the back to help him feel better.
Once Seungtae was finished, he wiped his mouth, and was trembling, sweat dripping down his face.
“I’ll….go clean this up. Be back in a minute.” Silently, Seungtae nodded, and Yeona stood up and walked into the bathroom, then poured the vomit into the toilet, and flushed it down. Then, she went to the sink and washed the bucket. She left it in a corner to dry, and went back over to Seungtae.
Seungtae was still shaking, with sweat dripping down his face.
Yeona sat down next to him, and put a hand on his back. “Breathe. It’s going to be okay.” Seungtae took deep, shuddering breaths, and slowly stopped shaking.
“Daewi didn’t tell me it was this bad.” Yeona said quietly. “I asked about you every day, and he told me you got the occasional fever, and you lost hair. But not much else.”
“You w-were worried about me?” Seungtae asked, a shaky amused smile on his face. Yeona turned red.
“I didn’t mean to tell you about that.” She looked embarrassed. “I meant to keep it a secret, how embarrassing…..” Yeona hid her face in her hair and started twisting her ring around her finger.
Weakly, Seungtae removed Yeona’s hair from in front of her face. “Don’t be embarrassed.” Seungtae smiled brightly. “I’m glad you cared enough for me to still ask about me. That makes me want to fight even more to get better.”
Face still pink, Yeona grinned, “You idiot, even if I wasn’t here, you still have to fight to get better.”
“True enough.” Seungtae agreed, and they settled into a comfortable silence.
After a little bit, Seungtae shivered.
“Cold?” Yeona asked. Seungtae nodded.
But he’s sweating. Yeona thought anxiously. She put a hand to his forehead.
Seungtae turned bright red. “H-hey…”
He’s burning up. Yeona thought for a moment, wondering what to do.
“Seungtae……”
“Yes?”
“I’ll warm you up.” Yeona hugged him. Seungtae relaxed.
'She’s so warm….' He turned red. 'What am I thinking?!'
'But…..I’m glad she came back. I might’ve given up on fighting entirely if the girl I care about never came to see me.'
Meanwhile, Yeona was worrying. 'He’s so thin, and he can’t keep that much food down. He is going to get better……'
'Isn’t he?'

“Anyway, we should sleep now. I just need to text Mori to let him know.” Yeona took out her phone and texted Mori:
[Yeona_Jin is online]:
YJ: Going to be @ hospital for the night. There’s stuff left over from yesterday in the fridge, just eat that for dinner.
MoriJin is online:
MJ: Alright, hope ur friend is ok
[Yeona_Jin and MoriJin are offline]
Seungtae flopped onto his bed. “You’re going to stay with me?” he asked hopefully.
“Of course,” Yeona smiled.
“Could you hold my hand until I fall asleep? I’m still….uh, cold.” Seungtae looked embarrassed.
Yeona nodded. “I’ll be right here.” She sat down on the chair with a breath. Tentatively, she reached for Seungtae’s hand, and grasped it.
Seungtae smiled, and closed his eyes. Soon, his even breaths filled the room. Yeona relaxed, and soon her own eyes closed.
A few minutes later, the door opened a crack. “Seungtae, it’s time for a test-” It was one of the nurses. She noticed Seungtae and Yeona holding hands as they were asleep. Her lips curved upward into a smile, and she closed the door again.
“We can test you tomorrow.” She said to herself as she went to let the doctor know.
