it was a saturday morning in the middle of august and i was sitting on the couch for something i've been waiting weeks for, my brand new drone! “It says it will arrive today, so let's wait and see when it gets here” said my dad “yes!” I shouted. jumping from my seat and dashing toward the kitchen, I passed my mom nearly bumping into her. “hey, watch it bradey!” my mom said in a stern tone “you could’ve knocked me over, then what would you eat for breakfast if it was smack dabb on the floor?” “Sorry mom,” I quickly replied, and opened the refrigerator door. I looked around in the fridge and reached for the juice carton and shaked it. almost nothing. “We ran out of juice” I say, looking at my mom. she looks at my dad and says “your father will get some after work, isn't that right?” “u-um yeah! i will definitely buy some juice”, “have a good day at work dear” said my mom “thanks!” shouted my dad as he ran out the front door and to his car. i grab the milk and poured some into a glass and put it into the microwave, i grab my breakfast and head to the table *ding ding ding* I rush to the microwave and get my warm milk. I gobble up my breakfast, drink my milk, and plop on the couch. I watch an hour of criminal minds when the doorbell rings, I bolt upright. I started heading toward the door, but my mom was already there and she opened the door, picked up the package and closed the door behind her. she sets the box in front of me, i open it and there is my drone, i instantly take it outside and use the remote to make it go up and up, and then it started to fall down and i couldn make it fly because it said on the screen of the remote that the drones battery was dead, it fell and crashed into the pavement and i couldn't believe it, my brand new drone.Broken. leaned in close to see that the microchip was ok. but the rest of the drone was badly damaged. I took my busted drone upstairs and sat at my desk. I took out my microscope and examined the microchip and the broken mechanical parts. and i got to work. The next morning I went down stairs and ate my breakfast and went straight back up the stairs and took the box I had left on my desk. I brought it outside and opened the box. it took all night but i hoped it works.i lift my drone that fixed up from the box and set it on the ground i stepped away and hoped for the best. I pushed the power button and the propellers started whirring. I pushed the lift button and it started to fly,I did it! it was really flying! i made it go left, i make it go right up, down and around and then I slowly made it land and it didn't break. i showed my mom my drone that i fixed and she said she was very proud of me.and during my class on show and tell i showed my entire class my drone and they liked it and the teacher was impressed. and that was the story of my epic new drone.
