I woke up on a hospital bed, more like a clinic though; a med care in the barracks… my right leg was vertically suspended in the air as a result of my fractured ankle which was now tightly wrapped in bandages. My gun wound was well patched up as well… 

Colonel Alex walked in… “Hey sergeant how’re you feeling”? He asked… 

“I got shot in the shoulder and my ankle is shattered. I feel like I just resurrected from the dead sir”. I replied… 

Colonel Alex: You sure did. You’ll be fine sergeant, just take your time to recover… 

Me (Michelle): I don’t intend to wait out my life here sir. I want back into the field ASAP… 

Colonel Alex: sergeant, I’m sorry about Steve, I really am, but until you fully recover, you’ll trust team DELTA on this one. That’s an order… 

“Sir, Yes sir”! I reluctantly said… 

Just then team DELTA walked into the clinic with a bottle of Champaign. “I figured we haven’t done the ritual for Captain Steve” one of the boys said as he popped the bottle… (It’s a military ritual to make a toast in honour of a fallen comrade) 

“The honour is yours, sergeant”… Colonel Alex said as he handed me my own glass of Champaign… 

Me (Michelle): They shall grow not old, as we that are left, grow old: 

Age shall not weary them, nor do the years condemn them. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them. 

“We will remember them” everyone echoed as we raised our glass cups... 

Me(Michelle): To Jack, Edison, Anderson, Martinez, Gomez, Raymond, Bryan, Robert, Eric, Jeffrey, Viktor, Dickinson, Harrison, Brandon, Billy, Michael, Miguel, Redington, Thomas, Scott, Jones, Miles, William, Brooks, Davis, Douglas, Louis, Vincent, Robinson, Sanchez, Jason, Tyler, Gerald, Norman, James, Miller, Justin, Baker, Zach, Brenda, George, Arnold, Andi, Kay, Karl, Jake, Maxwell, Mason, Francisco and Captain Steve. Cheers... 

“Cheers” everyone echoed again as we clink our glasses and then gulped down the alcohol...

Zaheed's men had reported to him how they coloured the jungle river with my blood but he didn’t buy it. He wasn’t going to take chances as he knew exactly what the military is capable of, under water. So he cleared the ware house and moved his base to only God knows where; he literally disappeared...

Cornel Alex: All right boys, let’s go get some justice... let’s hit that warehouse and hit it real hard... Zaheed is the ALPHA.  Grab him if you get close enough. If not... 

DELTA 1: if not??? 

Cornel Alex: if not, then shoot to kill... QWERTY, brief the boys... 

Jill (QWERTY): did some quick typing on the keyboard and pronto! A map appeared on the big screen... the ware house is located down the South side of the phone booth, where we picked Sergeant Michelle earlier. However there’s a river located at the valley side of the woods very close to the warehouse; that should be your entry point... Good luck....

Cornel Alex: All right boys, stay sharp and watch each other’s 6. I’ll be with you on the COMS. Go, go, go...
