I took my phone out of my pocket to check the time, 11pm, and instead of sleeping or playing video games, I'm instead being practically forced to go to a party with a bunch of jocks.

“Hey little dude, you stoked for the party?” The red haired jock, David, said to me, snapping me back to reality. “Stoked? Do people still say that?” I asked, that word hadn't been used for a long time, “It's making a comeback, trust me bro” he said, the long black haired one, Chris, got close and whispered “It's not making a comeback, he just wants it to”.

A couple minutes of walking would pass and we would finally reach the club, it was a rather... expensive looking place, shiny statues outside, golden gate and what I assume is a fountain that cost more than the school.

The shortest one, Shane, ran ahead and opened the door for us, the rest of the jocks surrounded me, to hide me I was guessing. We entered the building and I immediately felt dizzy, the sheer amount of people there was enough to make me want to throw up, but I had to stay strong, after all they did go out of their way to get me invited. 

Suddenly someone grabbed my wrist and pulled me aside, leading me to less occupied space, I looked up to see who my “captor” was. Noticing the familiar light brown hair, I knew exactly who it was, “Sorry for pulling you aside dude, you looked like you were about to pass out” He said, checking my temperature with his hand, “I-I'm fine M-Marcus, I just am not one to socialize”. I replied, my face turning a light shade of red from his touch, “Y-you should go and enjoy the party, I'll hang out here for a bit” I said a few seconds later.

He took his hand off of my forehead and left the room, I went and sat down on the closest chair and let out a sigh, there's no way o could handle this party, I wanted to go back to my dorm and sleep. Suddenly my phone rang, the caller ID said unknown number, but knowing exactly who it was, I let it ring out, playing that annoying 3 beep tone repeatedly until it finally fell silent. It was time I left this party and went back to my room, so just like that I left without a word.
