"You are not as dumb as I thought you were",a voice said , it's the shadow.

A dark smoke spread all around the room slowly.

"You didn't expect me here did you?",the shadow said ,"it's been years since the incident , why did you show up now,all of a sudden?" , Witch said.

"Oh no, that's where you are wrong",the shadow said as it put both of its long fingers and sharp nails on her shoulders and whispered in her ear,"I never left you."

"I mean how could I? How could I let this beauty of the dark go ?", The shadow said looking at Scarlett , who was still unconscious.

"This person has so much potential, no wonder you have been protecting her for so many years."

"Don't try to pull her down, you can't, you might have stolen her heart but the power she holds , you will never be able to control it. You couldn't control her in the past nor will be able to in the future."

"My my, look at this rage in you , sweety you think you can defeat me ?", The shadow said smirking.

"You kidding me?",she looked at the shadow with a 'I am so done with you' face.

"People are not scared of me for no reason!", She said sarcastically .

This was not her first interaction with the shadow but she knew it would be her last . "You know what, let's take this outside it's a small room" 

Just as she said those words the doors and windows opened and strong wind started to blow from each side , the room slowly disappeared . Now they were in the eye of a cyclone.

The shadow seemed confused, the witch quickly went up to Scarlett , who was still a bit unconscious and leaned over and whispered,

"Please do me a favor , don't hide your magic" 

She then put her hand over Scarlett's chest and gave her what she was missing , a heart ,

"now that you have my heart, we became eternal",she kissed her daughter last time on her forehead and then her soft eyes turned cold as turned back to face the shadow 

"I am going to be the deadliest price you would have to pay you filthy little shadow." 

Everything turned dark. When Scarlett woke up she was in the forest .

She heard people screaming her name . Vaekal saw her sitting on the grass and rushed towards her , he hugged her and said "thank god you are okay", everyone rushed to her as they heard his voice.

"Where's mom?",she asked.

Everyone stood there in silence again but this time it was different.

Scarlett knew the meaning of the silence , she didn't felt any grief but a weird sence of safety and a weird satisfaction ,as if she was longing for it .
