[The Demon of Woldchurch] Towards the end of the 18th century, the village of Woldchurch was the setting for dozens of strange disappearances. Bodies would always end up reappearing in the treetops of Oakwood. Centuries later, the villagers bear witness once again to appearances of the Demon of Woldchurch. Neoptolemus Pearce, a young antiquarian steeped in cryptozoology, along with his brother Jay, has made up his mind to prove that the beast exists.
