NOTES:
-This week, in Tumble's oblivious realizations; celebrities are people too outside of the roles they play for their work! Amazing!
-Just gonna state it out front here; Rose and Raihan being related is not canon ingame. We'll be delving into this later on so I won't reveal too much, but basically it's just additional lore for this comic's setting specifically, and not ingame canon.
-Since the Hop battle takes place on the bridge leading to the next route, I like to think that's a popular battling place for new Gym Challengers once the challenge official begins. It's a nice way to break the ice and get to know your rivals, and let your Pokemon let off some steam and energy!
-Pokemon have a limited amount of energy to use in battle for their moves before they run out of energy, thus why it's not really feasible to steamroll through an entire battle with one Pokemon since it'll exhaust them. This is kind of the comic's explanation for move PP - certain moves probably require a specific amount of energy, especially as a Pokemon levels up/evolves and learns more powerful moves.
-But as for ingame notes, yes I really did steamroll Hop's team with Laurie lol. Sorry Hop! At this point his starter isn't evolved yet, but artistic liberties.
-Gossifleur was my encounter for the route but Martin fuckng critted it ;w; Mind you I probably didn't need another grass type since Shamrock had that covered, but still, losing another encounter stung. So, improvisation time! Tumble won't always be such an idiot I swear.
-Sometimes I think about how early routes are usually the ones where you catch plenty of teammates to fill your pokedex, and how usually that lessens by later routes since you usually have an established team by then.
-Friendship ended with every other brush, now edge pen is my best friend.

I mean, I did beat the Hammerlocke gym with an Eldegoss in tow in my Nuzlocke, thanks to it's bulk.
