the sunlight pierced through the curtains of Elian's room. the small light reflected on his white sheets where his skull was partially hidden under. bird sang on the edge of the window and Elian woke up slowly. As soon as he was completely up, a weird magic feeling took over his room. Elian looked confuse but Shake it off.

he went downstairs, and slowly walked to the kitchen as he noticed object placed weirdly like a flower pot on the fireplace, knife deeply stuck in the ground. it seemed that some object were broken but everything was clean and there was nothing missing.

"i must had been sleepwalking again" thought Elian as he maked his breakfast, small wild berries with butter on a piece of bread.

Elian didn't notice but a familiar head slightly peeked through the door of the kitchen and it slowly watched him eat with his empty eye sockets. as soon as Elian looked at the door way, the head went away, disappearing.

"i swear i saw something..." Elian let out between two munch.

after finishing his breakfast he decided to make sure there is no one else in the house and that actually nothing is missing.

he started with the kitchen. two knifes were missing, actually no, he saw the missing knifes stuck in the living room floor. every small plant was there, no missing chairs, cooking ustensile, the cooking pot was still there.

he then proceeded to look at his workshop. nothing was missing in the shelfs but it looked like someone messed with it. his carving tools were moved off the table and the puppet was in a different position than yesterday night.

"might have been rats" Elian thought.

as he left the workshop, Elian saw the hand of his puppet move. Elian let out a small squeak of surprise as he looked at the puppet. he was trying to see if it would move again, to confirm it was normal or not. but the puppet didn't move.

"heh, don't scare me like that candide" Elian purred as he walk out of the room.

As Elian walked to the backward, a strange mist filled the workshop and in the doorway stand a tall figure with two white glowing dots for eyes .

"c-can...'t pro-romise.... hehe."
