"Destiny, Victoria, Jaylene! Get inside if you want to eat tonight." My mother grumbled. She was always like this, but today had made me feel quite well.
"We're coming mother!" Jaylene shouted back. As we walked inside my sister, Jaylene, glared at me as she noticed my shirt was ripped, showing my umm... cleavage. Victoria never liked me too much, probably because I stole the spotlight in our mother's womb. Being twins with the savior of the universe must be pretty disappointing I imagine.
"Your trainer told me you had improved quite a lot today. Did that toy she gave you help? I heard you sent a man to the hospital." At that moment it felt like Jaylene and Victoria's eyes shot through me. I hated this feeling, and I still do to this day.
"Y-yes ma'am, I'm so sorry..." I stuttered out of my mouth.
"Good. Now, head to bed." She advised. As I walked out, Victoria followed me to our bedroom.
She slammed the door behind her, "What the hell is wrong with you? You sent a man to the hospital! He might DIE." Her hostile expression almost broke me, right then and there.
"I didn't mean to! He was trying to-" I tried to explain.
"I don't care! You're a fucking GODDESS. He didn't deserve that and you know that. Her long hair flipped as she turned around and walked out of the room.
I walked into the washroom and looked at myself in the mirror. Who was I? Was I a killer? Am I privileged? Would people be happier if I was gone? Everything in my mind hid, cowering to these questions that resonated in my brain. I didn't want to be here anymore. I pulled out a sharp stone I found earlier in the arena. I didn't want to be here anymore.
As I opened a wound, the door creaked open. I immediately rolled down my sleeves and turned around, " Ah, hey! What are you doing here?" I frantically asked.
"I was just trying to find you..." Jaylene answered. "Sorry if I scared you... I'll leave now, ok?"
"No...! Uhm... Sorry..." I stammered. "Can you... stay with me?"
"Sure sis."
