"The time has come, Baronia, for us to rise and crush Mathias again. This time we will show no mercy."

      All his subjects continue to cheer for him as the King bangs the fence with an iron fist.

“We’re back and back for good. Onwards! To Mathias that shall befall us.”

     The whole crowd cheers as the doctor warps the fortress through hyperspace. The massive fortress disappears in the background.

     Somewhere back in an open field, Detective Tannen is seen training. Wild beasts are seen surrounding him. Two go in for the first attack. Without hesitation, he smiled, unleashing a pair of heavy axes. The axes pierce through both beast's abdomens.  

 "You fools should be the ones fearing me!"

     He pulls out his Scythe to cut through another with one swift strike. Tannen looks back with a sinister grin. The rest begins charging toward him.

 “Time to end this.”  

      Tannen unleashes the darkness within his Scythe to cut down the rest.

 "Well, that should be it."

     He begins gathering the beast's corpse up.

“This should last for a couple months. Time to return back to Sairori to cook something up.”

     As he begins to head back, a change in the air suddenly shifts.  

 "Somethings not right…."

      Back with Alistor. He finished up with Alshrya and was getting ready to leave, waving goodbye. An earthquake suddenly commenced as the sky grew dark.

“What in the world is going on now?

 Alshrya rushes to his side. The old man looks up in the air with Alistor.

“This can’t be good. Something is approaching.”

     Back above, Dr. Page brings news to the Baronia King.

“We’re breaking through the planet’s atmosphere. What shall be our first move?”

     The King gets up and stretches out.

"Good doctor! Now that we're here give us a global view of what we have."

     The doctor begins getting some satellite views of Mathias's geography and studying it. More subordinates of the Baronia Empire are gathered up in the throne room to discuss their first attack. A holographic view of Mathias appears on the viewing screen.

“Silence!!!”

     The throne room quiets down. The Baronia King takes a good look at the map and speaks out.      

"So Mathias didn't change since we last left. It's been so boring asleep on standby for hundreds of years. But wait!"

     The King begins to have second starts before making a decision.  

"What is the matter, my lord?"

     The Baronia King summons out a virtual holographic chess board.

“We must approach this differently than before. We last did not anticipate our threat resulting in a shutdown. Let us not underestimate our opponents and test out Mathias’s defenses before we make a real move. Doctor!”

"Yes, my lord?"

     The King gives his first command.

 “Send down a few Baronia pawns to scout the perimeters. We need to know what we’re up against.”

     Back below, the enormous, mechanized fortress came into Alistor's view as everybody around only stood by and watched.

“What is that?” Alshrya asked.

     Alistor continues to not take his eyes off the ship. A few Baronia pawns teleport to the front gates, wandering across the gardens in a silly manner. At the same time, the castle guards didn't pay attention while the grunts continued to slip unnoticed, focusing on Alistor and Alshrya. They approached the two, and Alshrya was the first to react.

“Um…we got a problem.” Alshrya pointed.

     Alistor continues to ignore his surroundings. The Pawns draw closer to him upon curiosity as some tilt their heads. The mechanical soldiers were faceless with a symbol on their faces resembling a playing chess piece. They continue to act silly behind Alistor, waving their arms. One of them taps Alistor on the shoulders.

"Not now, Alshrya."

     They tap his shoulder again.

“Not now!”

     One Baronia pawn gave a facepalm while some expressed silent laughter. They tap him for a third time.

"I said…." Alistor didn't finish his sentence. The moment he looks back, he stumbles back.

     The Baronia Pawns jumped back and imitated his expression silently.

“What the heck are these things?”

     A pawn speaks out for them to surrender. Alistor refuses and draws out his sword. The grunts begin charging in as a battle starts. He makes the first strike at an incoming soldier. His sword wobbled on impact, and the Pawn didn't feel a scratch.

“What?”

     He gets punched in the chest twice by the pawns.

“They’re tougher than our last foes. I need to approach them differently.”

     Alistor then decides to play games by moving around to trick them. The pawns quickly take an interest in his moves and choose to mimic him. He begins getting swift and dodgy, remembering the lessons Katty taught with quick movements. A few pawns start to stumble.

“Got ya!”

     The pawns start to feel pain. They attempted to fight back, but Alistor dodged them one by one. He trips one over, causing it to short-circuit. The enemies then draw their spears to get serious.

"Oh crap, they're starting to get serious." Gestured Alistor.

     He tries hard to focus, avoiding the speared soldiers taking blows on the chest from unarmed ones. The unarmed pawns were quickly dismantled, leaving the speared soldiers to remain as Alistor wondered how to approach them. He takes a quick look and notices Alshrya with a gardening hose.

"Hey, Al, quickly hand me that hose."

     Alistor rush to Alshrya, being chased by them.

"Here, catch!"

      He grabs the watering hose quickly and sprays the remaining Pawns with water. The pawns are short-circuited and fall into place. Alistor quickly falls to the ground, exhausted.

"I barely survived. Man, just what are these things?"

Alshrya inspects one of the destroyed grunts and uncovers a symbol latched on the spear.

“This can’t be!”

“What can’t be. “ Muttered Alistor.

     Alshrya rubs his forehead with a headache.

 “We are now in grave danger. The burden of Mathias is now passed on to the next generation”.

“What burden?” Questioned Alistor.

"The Baronia Empire has awakened, and now they're back for revenge. We must inform everyone. Bring that package back to Sairori as soon as possible."

 “Right….”

     Meanwhile, back above with Baronia...

 "Hmm, what have we had here?"

      The Baronia King watches Alistor from the viewing globe.

"They actually have a defense, after all?"

"For a dimwitted kid to defeat a few little pawns, this should be fun. Did you think he knew that sword he had was blunt?" The doctor questioned.

     The King looks out into the window.

"Oh well, what's the fun without a little challenge. After all, I could use a challenge after being asleep for ages. Next time will be ready!"

    As the Baronia fortress descends back into space, Alistor makes his way through the field again on his way back home. Wondering why his blade didn't hurt them. He then decides to take a good look at the sword he ignored.

“What!”

     Back home, Maigashi is seen relaxing as Auroa goes to ask him about the blunt sword trick.

 “Do you think he’ll be alright?”

     Maigashi opened one eye.

"Oh, he'll be fine; nothing should go wrong. Anyway, nothing has been going much anyway."

     An annoyed look is last seen on Alistor. Finally, realizing his sword was blunt.

"I'm gonna kill you for this."
