The four of them drifted around into the club, Pear and Anon parting into the dance floor with the larger crowd. Lucas and Erien scattered to the bar to miss the hundreds of people.
“So, how does climbing up to the highest building we can after all this sound?” Lucas was examining his glass of whiskey as he glanced over to Erien who was holding onto a more fruity drink this night. He was too hyped for the late evening events that he didn’t feel like getting washed. He looked over, smirking back, placing the rim of the glass to his lips and taking a drink. Lucas chuckled and scanned over the crowd. Pear’s flashy hairpiece, knuckle and hand tattoos made her stick out like a sore thumb.
“Lucas, I have a question,” Erien was sliding the glass down his finger to the countertop and swivelled around in the stool with a devious look. Scary. It was never a good thing when Erien had this look.
“What’s the question?”
“Where is the highest building near Salvatore’s Twilight?”
➼
Anon was pulling Lucas up onto the building’s roof as the wind stormed between them all. The stars were big and bright thanks to the clear black abyss above them, the moon blinding.
“I got the spray,” Anon dropped cans of spray paints to their feet. Some rolled away probably in fear to be used, others, rolled right to them in want.
Pear picked up bright pink and lime green with a giggle,” Ah my favourite colours!”
“Anon, draw a penis I swear to god I will nuder you,” Lucas spoke flatly and straight as a board. Pear and Erien laughed as Anon’s face paled because he knew his brother wasn’t kidding.
They all gathered the colours they wanted before jumping to different rooftops and sliding down rusting metal stairs of the apartment buildings. The sounds of spraying echoed in some alleyways close by, giving all of the hints that others were out doing the same idea they had.
“Scatter!” Someone yelled out, making everyone nearby drop their spray cans. Anon had just started drawing his tag before the scatter was announced. Pear and Erien had tagged their stage names but with using objects instead, and Lucas just gave up before even starting anything.
The police were stalking down the roads in their cars, flashlights scoping out the empty alleys as many of them hid on the hidden away stairwells. Erien and Pear were giggling as their graffiti was in sight of where they were.
“SuperNova Pear,” they laughed aloud once the cops were out of sight and hearing.
“I can’t believe you tagged his night club. Maybe he won’t notice it. It is on the corner where there are no windows but...oh god. You guys!”
Pear and Erien had tagged their masterpiece over the back door for staff to see. They were all for sure dead if Mr Salvatore found out who it was. Hopefully, no one would notice it during the night once it opens up again.

“Clean. This.”
People were outside around Lunar’s nightclub early afternoon taking pictures, video and chatting away about the graffiti.
Lunar, obviously not thrilled at all about it, had his arms firmly crossed in front of his chest glaring at the wall. Some of his staff was already attacking the art, power washing it away thankfully the paint was still damp enough surprisingly to make it disappear. The damp city air from this morning probably helped with that.
“If we find out who did it, are you going to press charges?” Lunar looked at one of his bartenders, a petite girl that seemed way too interested in the wall.
“No. I’m just not pleased someone did this is all. But at least they had the decency to avoid the front. I would’ve pressed charges then.” The girl nodded before turning on her heel and skipping back inside the nightclub to prepare for tonight. Lunar did the same sighing to himself a bit as the metal door closed with a heavy click.
➼
Heavy rain poured outside the club building as the music was slow on the dance floor. A crowd of people dancing with drinks in hand, a few by the bar and in the booths enjoying the much more relaxed night. Weekdays always were a bit lesser during the night, but nothing too wrong about it.
Lunar stood on the balcony, tapping the base of his glass on the railing as he turned away and leaned backwards on it. One of the girls stepped down the staircase, eyeing him smiling before landing at the base of the stairs and blending into the dancing crowd. Soon, a man came stumbling out from around the corner and down the stairs, Lunar catching him,” Easy.” The man nodded as he tracked back down and filed into after her.
“Hm.”
He had caught himself though, looking through the sea of bright and dark coloured clothing. They held high glasses of light to heavy liquor above them all. He was looking for someone. And when he realized it, he had gone up the stairs to make the crowd of people leave his vision.
“Hm,” he hummed to himself as he leaned on the marble walls,” Working. Most likely. I’ll just say that.” The thought of that person having a for fun hang out with another stranger bugged Lunar. Someone shouldn’t be doing that. Again, even if they are having to do it for money. Even if it is the only way, maybe. Just not a great idea. The amount of trouble someone could get into whether it’s a legal job too.
“If you are looking for him,” a familiar voice taunted Lunar from behind. He turned around seeing the same wavy chin-length ashy blond hair and devilish blue hues that teased the words in silence.
Lunar narrowed his eyes,” What makes you think I am?” A low laugh struggled from the man’s throat,” Nothing. I was just messing with your button. You just seemed to be distracted is all. Too distracted so I’ll leave. I wanted to come to see Mr Salvatore’s place myself. It’s quite the abode. Many foxy singles to mingle around with,” Deimos lifted his head back, eyeing the women down below that were staring up at him. They waved to him all giggling as he wiggled his fingers back at them in a flirtatious manner. Lunar stepped down the stairs toward him,” Well, you have my attention now. And thank you, I guess, for the visit and compliment.”
Deimos turned his attention back to Lunar, the blue pools that could drown you in mutes without care turned a threatening dark sea storm,” It really is best you leave my friend alone. None of us needs any more trouble from people like you that come into his or our lives. People like you come in with the thoughts of protection and caring and soon realize how much of a struggle it is and the exhaustion there is. Just spot while you are ahead. He doesn’t need another friend in his life.”
Lunar stuffed his hand into his suit pockets with a smile. This guy was really starting to get on his nerves about it. Just what was the problem with him if Lunar did want to be a friend or even an acquaintance of the stubborn brat’s life?
“Do you have a fling with the kid? Damn, I can see why you are so small balls now. You don’t want any more coming between you and his little shit show of a relationship. Kind of sad it is.”
Deimos flinched at Lunar’s comeback. Even though it wasn’t true, damn that truth hurt if it was. But he only laughed, shaking his head.
“Nope, sorry, no fling with me and that boy. Not once would I ever. He is just my best friend. I’ve seen him hurt too many times by people he thought he could trust with his own life. Same goes for my dear sister Pear and her friend group that comes in for a few drinks and chatter. I don’t need any of them in pain anymore. Just stay out of,” Deimos turned away, sliding the glass down the stairs before it hit the bottom, one of the staff members grabbing it before it shattered,” the underground okay? Our lives are very separate. Keep it that way. It is a waste of time.”
Lunar knew that the strip club owner was giving a warning threat. It was weak one which was what he was doing on purpose, he didn’t seem to be the one to fight or start a fight, but it was still really fucking annoying. If he would’ve broken that glass, that would’ve bugged him for the rest of the month.
“Prick.”
